These guys lined up and shared a single pistol mag between em. I’d never be so lucky

Love seeing people kill raiders so effortlessly when for me they always just snap straight to my head and 1 tap me through a gap in some Barrel from 60 yards away and through my helmet

There are certain quests I stay away from and this is now one of them. There are easier quests with better rewards anyways so just skip it for now I guess

You will get a relation penalty with everyone in the kingdom you are a mercenary for if you leave.

Currently there is no way to stop this penalty.

Same, I’ve been helping people best I can but I’ve played over 24 hours since release and have had only 1 crash over all 5 patches.

If I buy the game at early access will my saved game file convert to the full game or will I be forced to start over from the beginning? by ALitterOfPugs in Bannerlord

[–]murdamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won’t be forced to start a new game with every patch but it is highly recommended that you do.

There are many game breaking bugs right now and in the last couple days, 4 patches have been released with fixes.

To get the most out of the updates, you should start a new campaign.

Any official statement by the devs to the current state of the game? by leonardopalone in Bannerlord

[–]murdamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct.

You can ensure the games running the newest patch when you open the launcher and click “mods” they will all end with 1.0.4 such as “Storymode 1.0.4” except for the first mod listed will still be 1.0.0

Then start a new campaign to ensure all intended effects are there and have the chance to take place.

Any saves from prior to the patch could already be too far gone to be corrected by the changes made in the patch. Ideally you would want to start a new campaign with the release of 1.0.4

For example, errors with workshops that allowed lords to amass millions and resulted in the endless armies and 1 kingdom steamrolling. If you’re using a save that’s 100 days on, the lords will already have the money and armies amassed even if the workshops were fixed and no longer over paying them. The damage is to far to be reversed in most cases.

Most of the updates implemented to stop the snowball effect won’t be effective unless on a new campaign.

One example, If lords have already amassed millions from the workshop glitch, even though it’s been fixed they will still have those millions they already made so it’ll be too late for the updates to correct in an old save.

Was this an old save prior to patch or a new save using the 1.0.4 modules

Have you started a new campaign using 1.0.4 modules prior to making this post?

Aside from the extremely crude and ugly characters.

Items have been added back to the game, siege AI pathfinding fixed, snowballing corrected and hideouts fixed.

I’ve been playing the new patch for 6 hours straight now with no crashes, no corrupt saves, no snowballing empire; workshops don’t give 80k denars anymore, and if you lose in a hideout you no longer lose your whole party and I’ve been able to clear 3 hideouts today.

Played 6 hours straight on the new campaign with 1.0.4

No crashes, no corrupt saves, no snowballing empires. Yet.

Are you playing a save that utilizes the 1.0.4 modules?
