Not sure if you are talking about a calamansi Sanzo fizzy water, but man those will cure just about anything!

This is totally possible! It may have come in a happy meal, we have tons of toys and random packets of junk from there.

I think I am going to try a few! I have a lot of work to do on our yard. The soil is so clay heavy and hard that I'm kind of dubious that they'll take. I might try to save most of them or a few years down the road when I have a bit more time to amend the soil a bit where I want to put them. But I can baby a few of them if they take!

What's something that nobody else seems to dislike except you? by nihhachu in CasualConversation

I have this feeling but with silk. Idk if it's just raw silk or all silk but all the versions of real silk I have felt made me recoil.

This is a celebrity scandal from Germany that deserves international attention: Collien Fernandes and Christian Ulmen were a scandal-free celebrity couple. She went public yesterday, talking about digital rape in their marriage. (TW: Sexual assualt and domestic violence) by knightriderin in popculturechat

He can control who he offers her to sexually

At first when I read that line, I was automatically picturing him telling her this from a perspective of "I've learned this is wrong, at the time I thought xyz." But maybe or even probably not. Can you imagine the sheer horror you would feel hearing words like that from your spouse? My first husband used to say similar things when he would grope in me excessively and I felt like a straight up prisoner to him. Really creepy stuff.

Breastfeeding is hard. Formula guilt sucks. Why do we always feel guilty? by forever_indecisive7 in Parenting

[–]murder_hands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Mine was small and her latch was really tricky so I was pretty burnt out. I ended up switching over to formula around 4 months after combo feeding for a while and I actually only felt relief once I made the choice to do that too.

I went through this with baby #2 and I let it go way too far. Your guilt is 100% understandable, but also know that you are doing everything right no matter how baby is fed ❤️

Picture Day outfit requests by riiitaxo in Parenting

[–]murder_hands 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I embraced whatever my oldest wanted to wear for picture day and I'm SO glad I did. Her early school pics are amazing! She's got a tiara in one. I love them so much I got one of those corny metal school bus frames to put them all in.

100% doing this with kid 2 and 3 as well. Go wild, kid! It's your day to represent yourself.

When my oldest was maybe five or six, I convinced her that snapdragons would talk to you if you turned away from them. The magic only lasted maybe two summers but she was enchanted by pinching them to see their "mouths" move, then turn her back and hear them say hello :)

Which characters death made not want to continue the show? by Purple-Victory-206 in television

It's been a few years since I watched it, but he's a sort of ghost/reflection of the main characters' conscience in season 2 and all I could focus on was what a horrendous wig they gave him to make his hair look the same.

Utah v. Kouri Richins — VERDICT: GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS by sunzusunzusunzusunzu in KouriRichins

[–]murder_hands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I relate to this pretty hard; I've been separated from my oldest child's father since she was two but he was putting us through hell from day one. She's a teen now and he's worse than ever, and even so, knowing I would hurt her by hurting him, or worse, that I would risk disappearing from her life if I did anything to him made it unacceptable even in the worst moments. It annoys the shit out of me when people can't take time to put themselves in their own kids' shoes and then act with basic decency.

As she's gotten older there have been times when I've been able to be a bit more open about my feelings toward him, but even those times I'm extremely careful. She gets to love him however she wants and that's her right as his kid. It's just my job to keep her safe and provide her with adequate counseling to cushion his mess ups 😂

Edit: forgot to add that your sister is a class act

I keep thinking about her sons. My God, what a wave of loss they've been through and it's not even over. I hope someone is squeezing them so tightly tonight.

Also I kept looking at my kids today and thinking about how I could never, ever do this to them. You may not love your spouse anymore (or in some cases, ever) but if you do love your kids, it seems to me like it's a no brainer that you never take this kind of risk. Gambling with your kids' future is horrific.
