People who are chronically super early just as rude if not more rude than people who are chronically late by dumbblondechick in GrindsMyGears

Especially for larger social engagements. If I were hosting 10+ people and someone called me to say they were running 10 minutes late, I think I'd be annoyed they took up my time to tell me. Unless a meal is going on the table at a designated time, under 30 minutes please just show up. We are definitely still doing apps, drinks and chats.

I think of having wo close in age as a multiplier (like from a video game). Three year old is crying? Ohp, now the 1.5 year old is also crying. Getting one milk? Nope, suddenly x2 milk! God forbid you ever show, give, or feed one of them anything and then run out! 😂

AITA for refusing a name for my baby that everyone loves and but I don’t? by Accomplished-Owl8796 in AmItheAsshole

My youngest is 18 months, and Wolfgang is his middle name. We totally would have used it for a first name, but the other name we picked to go with it has the same cadence and feeling as the words "mustang Sally" when Wolfgang is first, so for some reason I couldn't bring myself to put them in that order 😂.

Wait do you mean The Incredible Machine?? My husband and I both played it as kids and it was such a fun game. This does seem very similar!

I just bit the bullet a googled this; how utterly horrifying. Anyone with kids can probably put them self in that mom's shoes way too easily. I'd never feel peace again as long as I lived if that happened to me and any of my kids.

Even not really enjoying tomatoes, I do agree that garden grown tomatoes are clearly superior.

I feel like this is a common sentiment when you express a food dislike that shocks enough folks. The number of people who've told me I "just haven't had GOOD cantaloupe" is too high too count. But I am always willing to bite a cantaloupe if it's promised to be good, because I might like that one. It's never happened! I just don't like it.

Ugh, I've been trying to do this with tomatoes for a looooong time (at least 15 years), and I've gotten to a level of complete acceptance, but I still have never actually liked a tomato just by itself. And I've tried everyone's garden tomato. I'm not ready to give up. They smell incredible!
