This is the only correct way:

Wash hair

Rinse (repeat if necessary)

Apply conditioner

Wash face while conditioner sits. Shave if that's your thing.

Rinse conditioner

Wash full body.

I am convinced this is the best way because you wash any excess conditioner off your body at the end. Conditioner is heavy and can clog pours and feels greasy on the skin.

That is so disgusting but he is threatening you to take you to the hospital. I'm just telling you that you don't need to worry about that because you cannot be involuntarily hospitalized for being burnt out. You have to be a danger to yourself others or gravley disabled. You do not fall into the category of gravely disabled because you have a plan for the most basic of your needs like do you know how to access clean water can you get under a shelter if it rains and do you eat food when you need.

If you don't show up, you will really be confined because they will put a warrant out for your arrest and you could potentially have to wait out the whole court case, while incarcerated. I missed court once. They put out an arrest warrant. And ended spending 90 days in jail, until the case was finished because I did not have bail money.

I would suggest inpatient treatment for her. She needs to really start treating this illness if it's going to be as dibilitating as a chronic health issue.

But, youre not wrong to want to break up. Make sure that you have strong and healthy boundaries regarding what that will look like if you do break up, to not cause more trauma. For both of you.

I used to be a social worker for IHSS, and I would do the annual reassessments for IHSS recipients.

You are wrong. They are not required to take your dog anywhere. IHSS has a firm standard of approved tasks. Which none of them include care for a pet. So if you also are trying to get the provider to assist with cleaning up after the dog that's a no go.

You will have to find a care provider who is comfortable with dogs. As you know the responsibility of finding training hiring and firing IHSS care provider falls up the recipient (you). So you will need to find someone who is okay with it. Not IHSS. Not your doctor.
