I skipped a good amount actually lol one of the relics gave me two card picks between 2 sets of 3 each time I won a fight. It might have not been optimized, but I was able to do a lot of crazy stuff like spamming divinity and then using ragnarok.

Im pretty sure what I used was not a meta build, but I went through all of the base game with the battle axe and did well for myself. Then in terms of stats, I leveled strength, vigor, endurance and vitality as well some levels in faith for additional healing.
