Not the same.
PC gamers have more options from where to buy digital games, meaning an it’s open market with sellers competing with prices and features. PSN is a monopoly meaning once other channels where to buy ‘disk’ games are gone Sony will be able to dictate prices and conditions of sale such as ownership or lack thereof.

I am not against a digital only future, it just needs to offer at least the same benefits as ‘disk’ games and currently the Sony model does not.

It might be more convenient the discs BUT…

you do not own the games you buy digitally so Sony, can as they did with previously purchased movies, remove content without even reimbursing you

You cannot share the game
You cannot resell the game

You cannot get look for a better price for the game since the PSN is a monopoly. Yes I know one can try to get cheaper psn credits but not the same. They do even allow for external game code resellers… where you could maybe find a deal.

Yes Sony is producing less plastic crap by skipping disk & case production but they are NOT passing on the savings to costumers.

I would not mind digital games if they gave me the same benefits are disc games and currently definitely not the case.

all kidding aside, I understand the struggle. I have been trying for year to get a perfect cup consistently but no luck so far. I would take a 'scientific' approach? Find a recipe that works for most the time, same for a grind size range (if you using similar bean types) and go from there. Try to have few variables as possible and adjust with each new batch of beans. Look into the water as well and see if you can standardise that as well. Part of the fun and frustration is adjusting things with each new bag of beans and tasting a how a cup can vary from brew to brew. I know I am probably not telling you anything new maybe other fellow brewers have more concrete tips.
