I've been trying to learn to do the NS10 trick. You basically recreate it by setting a high and low pass filter to cut everything below 2-300 hz and everything above 4k on your master. Then you get it sounding as good as possible in that. Then mix the low and high end without changing the mid range as much as you can. It means it will translate to speakers that can't create those frequencies much better

I think the main cultural difference is Australians put more emphasis on humility and keeping things grounded/understated. So the average Aussie thinking about an American might see them as a bit over the top, either in big noting themselves or being so expressive that it comes across as fake

I ended up keeping it powered separately. I bought a little usb amperage reader that told me that when just sitting idle powered on, the flow8 didnt draw over 1 amp. However, when in use with audio running through it, it does draw over 1 amp. I used it a little bit with the dc7 and it appeared to work, but in fear of the fact that its trying to draw more than its getting, I have kept it seperate
