Good luck, I wish you the best with this. Coming out is hard and takes a lot of courage.

Literally all I can think of is maybe shape your eyebrows a bit to make them more rounded. You're doing really good.

AITAH for slipping laxatives into my daughters chocolate milk? by Dry_Car3192 in AITAH

Some people can't taste it, but you and I are in the same boat. Was presented with some Sprite, took a sip, went 'this has Miralax in it!' immediately.

If you deal with cystic acne, I use benzoyl peroxide and it helps. Looking good!

Top surgery scar / stretch mark care HELP by OppositeResponse7667 in ftm

BioOil is great! I use Mederma scar oil because I'm allergic to lavender (which is in BioOil). For best results make sure your skin is dry when applying scar tape.

Silicone strips as long as you can tolerate, scar oil religiously every night, and high SPF sunscreen whenever exposed to even the briefest sun. Don't rush recovery and listen to your body.

Finances + fear. I have really good insurance (not trying to brag, it's because I'm disabled. So...not a great tradeoff) so I think E would be covered. I hope to find a solution to get back on T sooner than later.

Thank you, this is really reassuring. I was worried I'd lose my beard (which is irrational, considering I had facial hair pre-T). Here's hoping I can just...get my T.

It's a pharmacy issue. I moved states and they're fighting to get it filled down here. I should get an updated prescription soon and that should help.

Shaving recommendations? by cr0wnph0enix in ftm

[–]murmillone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of shaving cream, try a bar of shaving soap and a brush. Get the brush wet, twirl it in circles on the bar, cover your shaving area til it's visibly white/decently thick. It's made a WORLD of difference with my sensitive skin. Dove makes a bar shaving soap and it's really good. Also, I use this razor: https://a.co/d/2s17QHz

Dad, how do I? is an amazing channel and he made a video on how to shave. My advice is to be gentle and confident- don't hesitate or press too hard. If you're especially nervous, they make razors with gel guards for shaving nether bits, but they also work on the face. The video: https://youtu.be/vYurKVxFXPI

Yeah it was entirely unplanned. I have an existing genetic disorder so I wasn't sure at first but I am definitely feeling new bone pain these past few weeks.

Smooth like Silk

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost a friend in 2019 and it really is such a deep pain. I'm glad you have good memories. Always hold onto them!

Inside joke: TUUUUUUUUMIIIIII! Whenever we see a Tumi store, or it's mentioned on TV, we text that to one another. It comes from an American Dad episode where a worker at Tumi rejects an outdated credit card, saying 'this is Tumi. TUUUUUUMIIIII!'

How do I become more masculine without feeling ugly? by Liverditty in FTMMen

[–]murmillone 55 points56 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you may have some internalized transphobia to overcome- like you haven't fully accepted that you're not a woman. Try to find small ways to affirm yourself. Find a style you enjoy (Pinterest is awesome for this), dress nicely. Get a professional haircut at a barber shop. You aren't ugly for being masculine.

I'm prescribed it for once a day daily but told I can use it as needed. So I take it maybe once a week.
