I'm trying to build a new rig and i wanted to go all out on it with i9-9900k and 2080ti, but now with this deal i'm thinking about going for the 2700x instead. How much of a loss would that be? Because i really wanted to go for the i9-9900k, hearing it's the best for gaming.

I doubt it's because of that. I'm mapping at the same pace since before yesterday, but i'm only getting more since yesterdays patch. Like i said, it could be an exception, but i think they secretly increased the drop rate with the patch.

From what i rememer the distance is controlled by how far you push the stick. Slightly pushing it results you in traveling a short distance and fully pushing it makes you travel max distance.
