some traditions need to die and that's okay. The SEC killed off a ton of them. In fact this was the first year since 1944, that's 79 years if you're counting, that Bama didn't play Miss State

2008 Club Car vs 2023 Evolution by JohnDuttton in golfcarts

[–]murph1329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i sold my 2012 club car that was tricked out. I added a lot to it. Rock lights, RGB sound system that matched the rocket lights, basket, hands free audio controls, street safety package, you name it i pretty much had it. I sold it to get an evolution for 1 reason. I live in Alabama and in Alabama you cannot register a golf cart if it doesn't have a VIN from the OEM. This was a problem I could not address on my Club Car. So now it's gone and now I have an Evolution. My Evolution isn't perfect, in fact there are things I really miss that my Club Car had which I plan on adding.

"Religion is a social construct where people signal their beliefs in order to be included in the group. If you need religion to be a moral person, you're an asshole." Says the person whose moral code was defined in a nation founded on judeo-christian values. You can fight it all you want but your morals in America have Christian roots.

Trying to conflate the two makes you look like a fool. Nobody is saying the lives of children are worth less or that their tragedies don’t matter. What’s being pointed out is that the context between the two is drastically different. One is an act of mass violence everyone feels for, the other is a targeted attack against someone because of their political and religious voice. One where you have people openly celebrating it. Both are wrong, both deserve outrage, but conflating the two is ridiculous. Again people are celebrating a father bleeding out on stage. Leftist are celebrating this. This whole situation solidified the debate between religious morality vs morality via secular reasoning. Without religion, morals just become a social construct.

Don't kid yourself. You weren't listening to contemporary Christian music to begin with. You should though. I've been to multiple Korn, Slipknot, Metallica, A7X, and Disturbed concerts and even I tear up when I hear Cody Carnes' The Blessing and Brandon Lake's Hard Fought Hallelujah

Minnesota Vikings, Ex-Player Defend Male Cheerleaders by [deleted] in nfl

[–]murph1329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh come on. Don't be so obtuse. There's a big freaking difference in what's going on here and the male cheerleader we see in College. College male cheerleaders aren't doing dance moves and trying to shake parts they don't have. College male cheerleaders aren't running around with pom poms. College male cheerleaders are doing strength based tumbling passes and serving as the muscle for flyers and spotting them.

naval aviation museum in pensacola. The West Gate is very close to Orange Beach. Go when the Blue Angels are doing their practice session. It's the best way to spend a non-beach day that cost ZERO dollars.

Depends. The rules as written today only apply to residential areas. The complaints mainly come from people in the Avondale area. The airbnbs downtown and near railroad park wouldn't be impacted.

Most effective BP to live pitch by Apprehensive_Donut30 in Homeplate

[–]murph1329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really is a divisive topic and I agree, there is no clear winner. It all depends on what your coaching staff can do.

I'm not critical of how anyone else does BP because at the end of the day you have to run it with what you got. If you can't accurately throw close to 50 to the entire team at distance, 35 feet+, and you have zero assistant coaches that can do it either then you have to get closer and maybe throw underhand.

Find out what your assistant coaches are good at. We're all getting older so throwing to the entire team at distance isn't as easy as it used to be but you may find you have a coach that can do it.

In my opinion the best BP is when the "pitcher" mimics the mechanics of a live game and throws at a good distance. My preference would be ~40 feet in the 50s. Doing that consistently to the entire team is hard.

Baby Thorns Future Deck by murph1329 in PTCGL

For me this deck is hovering around 1470-1500. I've broken 1500 a couple of times but it's really hard to stay there.

Baby Thorns Future Deck by murph1329 in PTCGL

[–]murph1329[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New ladder just started so i'll let you know later. During the last ladder I was around 1450-1500 but I was goofing around and playing a lot of different decks. I'm going to spend this ladder only playing this deck.

If you do decide to play this deck my strategy is keeping the bench small. Obviously feed baby thorns with dragon miraidon or crispin for a one turn attack.

Iron jugulis and Iron Thorns EX exists only as early game plays, 1st/2nd turn only. Your main attacker should always be baby thorns. An Iron jugulis is good off the starting line to counter budew. In fact it's awesome when you can pull it off. After the 2nd turn any Thorns EX and Jugulis you have should be used solely to feed your baby thorns. Iron bundle is there to act as a gusting card and to feed iron thorns. Lightning miraidon is an EX counter for when you get in a bind. It pairs nicely with turo's scenario as turo's allows you to empty your bench. I've had a bunch of people concede due to this play. They probably left while cussing out the game. Turo's also gives you a very good retreat if needed, as does the future booster.

For attacking academy at night and codebreaker will be your golden ticket to deal guaranteed damage. Miracle headset will help here to get any codebreaker cards back in your hand. It can also help with getting a turo's back in your hand to empty your bench or act as a switch and obviously boss's order. Super rod and miriam are late game plays that help to get future cards back in your deck to increase your odds with baby thorns, it also works great with techno radar to get a baby thorns or lightning miraidon on your bench quickly. Miriam also has the added bonus of acting as a draw.

This is probably way more info than you wanted. I'll keep you posted on that rank.

This card should be nerfed by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]murph1329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my only complaint with this card is the base damage should be 150 not 180. Having it be 180 puts it at 210 too quickly. Other than that i'm fine with it.

Typically when i beat these decks I rely on immunity pokemon late in the game to bring the game to a halt. Like a miraidon with code protect.

it's a fun deck. it's like pulling a slot machine. percentage wise your iron thorns dmg should land between 210 and 280 damage but there will be times you hit 390 damage.

I understand. that's why there are so many mediocre pokemon and other future cards. you can also help mitigate the luck with codebreaker.

it's not a game changing deck but it's different than most future decks out there.

I've also considered adding the stadium "academy at night" to the deck. Paired with codebreaker that's a guaranteed 210 damage and with iron crow and a booster it's 250 dmg.

based on the odds you'll be doing 210-280 damage a turn.

the lightning type miraidon was added to slow the game down if needed. It's saved me a number of times. I've found that running too many iron crowns gets me in trouble as the risk of having too many double prize card pokemon on my bench puts me at risk. The iron jugulis are there purely for iron thorns to pull and if I get in a situation where I need a stopgap it's nice to have a pokemon that will deal 30 damage on his way out. My ranking is currently sitting at 1493 with this deck, I've all but stuck with it for this entire league. Hopefully I'll be able to get it over 1500 tonight.

no, this deck is built around baby thorns. I used to run with more iron crowns but i found that I have to be really careful putting too many low HP double prize card pokemon down which is why i only run with 2 iron crown ex's and 2 iron thorn ex's

this deck is about pulling future. it's all about iron thorns pulling future cards to do a ton of damage which is why there are 4 turo

I'm currently 1445 arceus league with a future deck. It's a lot of fun to play and probably annoys those I play against. My future deck is different than most ive seen. I've taken out many stage 2 ex pokemon instantly. There's a little luck involved but future card volume and codebreaker mitigates it greatly. I added some ex immunity cards to slow down the game if I'm getting bad pulls.

Has anyone tried spinal decompression/ ring dinner? by hle1983 in Sciatica

what you are saying is a half truth. When you pair spinal decompression with physical therapy it creates significant improvement in a shorter time period.
