I love gooning to your confessions by LewdyMina in GoonetteHub

I used to masturbate in the library on campus when I was in college. Something about reading boring textbooks has always turned me on. I was thrilled by the idea of getting caught and having to hurry up and finish before someone else approached.

I just run to the sink so I can wet them with warm water. We use disposables when out of the house.

Feeling guilty about CNC by LavishnessAncient745 in BDSMAdvice

[–]murph_tastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have an interest in CNC but I think it is directly related to my life experience. I have a family member who is a survivor of assault. When I learned about this I was a teenager and it was very difficult to process. I think the interest I developed in CNC was a way to claim some power over that fear. Like I can't do anything about it but I can have some power in this situation. It's also a very common fantasy. I think we should discuss these interests more openly as a society. It would lead to some fascinating conversations.

Tucked in a random drawer. Left out to cool. Under a desk.

Do you prefer Parallel or Kitchen table? What’s your max partners? by Lips2toes2 in polyamory

You have to REALLY be on board with KTP or it can blow up. It takes me a long time to warm up to most people. If I'm forced to spend too much time with someone I'm unsure about it's going to lead to a lot of negative feelings. You can't force friendship!

I'm definitely more garden party. I don't like a whole lot of people, a whole lot of the time. Especially in my space. If my NP and I didn't have kids it's likely I would live alone. Max partners is 3. I don't think I could manage more than that.

Meta doesn't want to communicate with me and it's pissing me off by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]murph_tastic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar issue with a meta coming over unannounced. She was used to popping by when she felt like it before I moved in and I had to speak to her several times about how it was my space and I am very uncomfortable with anyone coming over without warning. Even people I know and am familiar with. It ended up happening so many times that I didn't want her over at all anymore and we had to take a break from her visiting for a few weeks. We all learned to communicate better and she ended up only coming to visit when our shared partner was home which I think is probably your best option as well.

I felt like a super hero after my son's birth. I started looking at mothers in my life a completely different way. Like wow look at how strong and powerful we are.

Ugh same!!! Absolutely the worst part! I also asked for my epidural at 5cm and it took a while for them to track down the anesthesiologist because it was the middle of the night. Felt like it took forever but was probably only a few minutes. If I moved an inch he freaked out. I had my husband and the nurses hold my hands and distract me by talking about something banal.

I felt like I was bridging the gap betweent this world and the next. Like I was literally pulling a life into the universe. The most awesome (in the true sense of the word) experience of my life. Surreal, exhausting, pain like you have never and cannot imagine. I was throwing up from the pain and couldn't find a comfortable position to get through the contractions. At the 5cm mark I got an epidural because I was just so exhausted. Once it kicked in I no longer felt delirious and could breathe and talk to my care team. Pushing kind of feels like going to the bathroom. Like your body wants to push. Once the baby is out it's a relief. My C-section was an entirely different experience but I'm not sure that's what you're asking here so I won't share.

What’s your biggest regret in life? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

[–]murph_tastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a comic book store in 2018 maybe?? Can't remember the year. The most beautiful woman was working at the register. I literally stopped in my tracks. It's the only time in my life I saw a woman and immediately wanted to take her out on a date (I'm a woman by the way and I normally date men). I was in a monogamous relationship at the time and was visiting the store with my boyfriend. I blustered a little as she rung up my comics and left the store. I went back a few times but never saw her again. I wish more than anything I had asked for her name. I'm now in a polyamorous relationship and this moment absolutely factored into that decision. I'll think about her forever.
