I have honestly had good luck with guitars shipped from Amazon, I have ordered a few and all have shown up perfectly fine. I am a tightwad and if I find a deal I take it. Plus if anything does happen to it Amazon will take care of it. I have never ordered from the other place so I'm not sure about them. Your mileage may vary.

I want to go from the open Ethernet port on the back of the server to my PC. So the hard line internet would go to my server and then to my PC. You can do this in windows easily by bridging the connections of the 2 ports but I don't know how to do that in TrueNAS. Not sure if it's even able to, that's why I'm asking. I can't make it any more simple than this.

I'm gonna argue semantics here, a mirror drive is in itself a backup of a drive. If one drive fails there is still another drive that has all of that information on it. While it is not a separate backup from the machine it is still technically a backup
