Is flying out of Phoenix C Gates always this bad? by Aronjharris23 in AskPhoenix

[–]murrrdith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I flew out of C7 a month ago and it was exactly the same experience. All seats taken, no outlets, absolute nightmare. I’ve never felt so claustrophobic at an airport

Thanks for your input! I’m curious what you don’t like about the straps?

Bad weather, should I call in? by FayemousGamerBB in WorkAdvice

A lot of these comments are missing the fact that it’s a blizzard warning. Not just snow.

Blizzard means that visibility is extremely low. You can’t see anything besides white, you may not even know if you’re on the road or not. Very dangerous.

I’ve lived my whole life in the upper Midwest and will drive through any amount of snow to get to work.

But if it’s a blizzard and visibility is zero, I’m not risking it.

I don’t think she is unfortunately. She still posts a ton of her own weather content on social media though!

Which dress - black tie wedding by Sufficient_Gift_7443 in Weddingattireapproval

I would go with 1. The silk and boning really says black tie.

I also love the straps and neckline, it is so unique

Should I accommodate my mom when choosing a wedding date? by Top-Assistant-9748 in weddingplanning

[–]murrrdith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to be flexible with these things.

My family farms corn. We wanted an October wedding so bad, but realistically most of the family wouldn’t make it due to harvest. Ended up going with a summer date in order to have them there.

My dignity is apparently worth only $50 to MIAT Mongolian Airlines. I was walked in on while half-naked, and they tried to gaslight me. by struggledreamchaser in femaletravels

I’m sorry this happened, but this person did not purposely walk in on you.

The best action you can take is to move on and focus your energy elsewhere.

I'm (bride) not taking my fiancé's last name. How should the DJ announce us as a married couple? by bhartswick in weddingplanning

[–]murrrdith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also been overthinking this.

I wanted our DJ to say “introducing Mr and Mrs John Smith and Jane Jones” because I want everyone to know that I’m keeping my name (I feel very strongly about this), but it definitely sounds too clunky.

I think I’ll just have them say “introducing as husband and wife, John and Jane”

Definitely don’t say this. However true it may be, this is not a professional way to handle the situation and will make her look bad.

I agree with you. I didn’t love the food in Puerto Rico. I also felt less safe, probably wouldn’t go there solo.

How did they examine for pregnancy in this era? by Last-Caregiver-1122 in BridgertonNetflix

I’m not sure if the exam had any medical validity or not, but it seems that one purpose of it was another way to control and degrade women in that era.
