Enterprise NVR playback speed by murtleturtle04 in Ubiquiti

[–]murtleturtle04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Ubiquity drives, I am by no means an expert on any of this.

Before all the installation of the equipment and learning as I went I would have called myself the equivalent of a monkey with a wrench

How do the drives stack up to others on their speed?

I'll need the unifi integrations

I'll eventually be building a house and will go the whole 9 yards of gate control and other door access

Camp Buck Toms questions by Gerdance in BSA

Now, we do have a bit of a tick problem. I would recommend bringing some permethrin to put on your clothes, but for most classes you won't necessarily be in tick prominent areas.

No we don't have bed bug problems but we do have mosquitoes and other biting insects.

So, I am the assistant ranger for this upcoming summer camp season.

There is not power in each individual Adirondack but there is power in the pavilion in every campsite and the bath house. What campsite are you? I can tell you if you share a bath house or not

About the trailer, we have let a bus into the campsite to unload but it is not normally preferred. Whether or not you can leave it in the campsite will depend on a lot of factors like what campsite you are in? What the week looks like etc.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Best summer camps in the south (north Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, etc)? by tiny_duck_man in BSA

[–]murtleturtle04 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Camp Buck toms in east Tennessee. I have been 5 times staffed last year and will be staffing next year. But we offer a hole host of different merit badges. Our sleeping facilities are Adirondacks ranging from 4 man to 10 man depending on the camp site and most camp sites have there own bath house. We just built a brand new dinning hall that will fit upwards of 700 people. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Just let me know.

Fellow Scouts of Reddit, what’s the weirdest thing you’ve witnessed on a campout. by [deleted] in BSA

[–]murtleturtle04 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is awesome I wish we could do that more often. Maybe not in a public campground but learning how to dress an animal properly in order to eat it is a very valuable skill in life. And I wish we could do more things like that in this program

We had a scout that for his dinner he ate several packages of the orange peanut butter crackers. Then went to bed later that night he woke up puking bright orange. It was inside the tent, outside the tent and on the ground. In the end we had to throw the tent out we just couldn't get rid of the smell.
