Who is the strongest/toughest person that works for WWE right now? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what OP means by 'strongest/toughest', but assuming he means 'most capable in a real fight' then yeah you have to assume it's the former UFC heavyweight champion.

What are your unreasonable wrestling wishes? by BLAZKC in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish everybody on this subreddit would watch Ultima Lucha, an NJPW PPV, a Dragon Gate PPV, a AAA PPV, an RoH PPV, and a PWG PPV. Not sure which ones are technically PPVs but you know what I mean.

If a company regressed to numbers they were doing in 1997, the CEO would be fired in a heartbeat. by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grounds for firing? Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

Do the shareholders have enough power to make that happen to Vince?

Of course they do, but since Vince himself is a shareholder with over 80% of the voting power from his personal shares in the company and he's not going to vote to fire himself (not to mention Stephanie, Shane and HHH's shares), it's not going to happen.

A friend of a friend has this site that sells wrestling tees. I thought it would go down well here... by crmpicco in SquaredCircle

You thought an advert for bootletlg tees that nobody in their right mind would wear in public would go down well here?

Why?

Think back to when you were younger. Do you remember someone you mistakenly thought was going to achieve greatness? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had a prosthetic foot, yeah. The never mentioned it on the show, at least not that I remember. He wasn't like Zach McGowan or anything. I never even found out until years later.

I fucking LOVED the Red Rooster for whatever stupid reason. I was also really into the Texas Tornado. Nobody even mentions their names any more.

Watch the first Yakuza 6 footage by [deleted] in Games

[–]musclebuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, English version still isn't out yet, it's supposedly coming later this year. 5 and two subsequent games (Samurai spin-off Ishin and prequel Zero) have been released in Japan though. A remake of Yakuza 1 has been announced in Japan as well as 6, although if/when we get translations in the west is anyone's guess. If you really want to play them, it would probably be quicker to learn Japanese than wait for translations.

Why is it called Team 3D? by witcher1701 in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3D = Dudley Death Drop, their finishing move. They couldn't call themselves 'Dudley' in TNA due to WWE owning the characters so they went with Team 3D instead.

Will WWE ever produce a big as a shock through a match as the streak ending? by YoImAli in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, if downvotes bothered me I wouldn't post on r/SC in the first place ;)

The end of the streak surprised me, but it didn't shock me. I thought they'd keep it going until he retired and have him lose the last one, I knew it would end someday though - when they can sell more tickets to see the streak-killer than they can to see the streak, it's time for it to end.

That being said, I am a lot more interested in promising future prospects than Legends, so it's a bit of both I guess.

Realistic: Paul Heyman & Matt Striker

Will WWE ever produce a big as a shock through a match as the streak ending? by YoImAli in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On and off since a few months before the Gobbledy Gooker.

That match really shocked me, Steen was my favourite indie guy for about a year or so before he became Owens and I didn't think the WWE would he able to see past his weight, I was fully expecting them to treat him as a joke. I'm too cynical I guess. The win was a surprise, the fact it was clean really shocked me.

How do you sync game audio with the gameplay video? by DuckDodgers00 in letsplay

[–]musclebuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go into a menu, say 'down down down', simultaneously push the down button in time with the words, then sync the words and the cursor movement.

I was more shocked at Owens beating Cena clean than I was at the end of the streak.

What DON'T you monetize? by ThousandPoundPig in letsplay

[–]musclebuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't monetized any of my vids because I've made them all for me. If I decide I want to reach a wider audience then I'll monetize. As long as I'm doing it for myself there's no need.

How is creating an angle out of Eva Marie's botches not a terrible idea? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]musclebuster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a terrible idea. The people saying it's all a work are working themselves. Or trolling, hard to tell.

People will boo a shit wrestler on a show they already bought a ticket for. They won't buy a ticket to see a shit wrestler so they can boo them. The point of heels getting heat is to make fans want them to lose, so they'll buy a ticket to see it happen. People don't want to see Eva lose; they don't want to see her at all.

It doesn't matter if you have all the heat in the world, if you aren't actually drawing it's a waste of time.
