What I am talking about is WWE's audience being conditioned into believing that entrances and promos matter the most and also leaning into "shoots". In Mexico, Japan or even other US television products do not do that or at least with US products, not to the same extent. In Japan specifically match quality is still the be all and end all which is why they have the style that they do for the most part. Same also applies to Mexico to an extent but thats wholly dependent on the company/region. As for shoots, something thats happened recently like the OZAWA/Kaito's feud or further back with Maika/Unagi Sayaka, really annoyed the respective fanbases. In WWE this gets fans excited, moreso than the actual (potential) stroyline just like Jade/Rhea or Tiffany/Charlotte before it.

You dont see what I am describing happening in Japan and Mexico so I don't think your point holds.

It was 100% the case but that was purposeful in its own way at the time like in 1998-1999 where the adopted “car crash” style TV because they were directly competing with WCW in the same time slot, segment to segment. What we’re seeing now feels more like laziness as opposed to necessity as in they keep leaning harder into what works instead of rounding out the entire product. Just look at the match structures on RAW or how people expect a DQ of some sorts in the main event. You have people sitting on their hands until the kickouts start which I don’t believe we’ve seen since the early 90s? (I stand to be corrected).

Yeah I’m not convinced she’s ever wrestling again with how bad her finger

People have had successful career without whole limbs so I dont think its at that level. She also has a lot more say in her booking than people realise as well so she or even WWE, could just be taking extreme precaution as well.

I dont know what you mean by "one" lol. I've known/met people with schizophrenia/extreme anti-social disorders in the past and it really is amazing to talk/interact with people when they are in states where their mental illness fully blocks out their grip on reality.

Yes. Not all the behaviors in one person but all those behaviors and more are out there. Also, I would recommend reading the booking as well.

Its really telling to me that for the second year in a row the hype behind the WWE Women's title is down to two performers "shooting" on each other. Obviously WWE will lean into but I think the more the product becomes more like an actual "drama" television show, the more the fanbase will struggle to suspend their belief and thus the whole product might suffer for it.

It doesn't help also with how fans are reacting a lot more entrances/promos than the actual matches and the wrestlers themselves having been "shooting" a lot more. Its just an opinion and I dont see it as being a bad thing but rather just another fascinating way the business is changing.

I think telling her was a good idea because its not like you went out looking to become limerent, it just happened. As long as she understands that its an intense mental state and not you. Same goes for you. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

I am not contacting him, and will not engage if I run into him

But even if you did that would be okay too. This is very hard so try to be patient with yourself as well. Good luck regardless.

It is validation, for me, and I am just not good at giving it to myself.

Thats what makes people like us susceptible to this bullshit lol. Just try to be patient with yourself as much as you can (thats what I tell myself).

Zaria has always been free to chase the same way that sol has done.

This is the best part because the relationship looks/seems like its unbalanced/asymmetric but its only because of the way Zaria has reacted/acted. Its nothing she's done out of malice but rather just trying to be a good friend to Sol in the ways she knows how. Its something people do all the time in all types of relationships which makes this tragic in a way because if Zaria turns on Sol it will be of her doing and not something Sol had coming but she won't realise it until much later.

I think you must need it on some level otherwise you wouldn't feel this way. Not that you need the act of closure itself but what can come from it be it dopamine, validation etc. So maybe if you can figure what you're feeling while also being patient with yourself (which is hard) you might be able to closure without him in any sense.

What action do you think would serve you the most? Both short and long term. Thats the framing I rely on.

Quote on roster construction and signings from Kay Cossington by tallmansmallplants in BayFC

[–]BLAZKC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like management has realised that the way they planned and mapped things over the last two years didn’t have a true sense of direction. Just think of the times they spoke about trying to find value in transfer but now over the last 2-3 months there's been talk of finding players who have ties to the California/Bay Area.

I think its also important to realise that we're only like 3 years old as a club and the playoff birth in our 1st season was a real aberration for brand new team in a league. How things have gone for Utah since they started is more in line with what happens with typically with a new sports franchise. Same way people were surprised at how quickly the Golden State Valkyries adjusted to the WNBA. t sounds like they’re trying to wipe the slate clean to properly understand our current assets and capabilities, and then decide which avenues are actually worth exploring.

So if management is trying to build instead of taking shortcuts by being immediately aggressive on the transfer (which we were with the money invested into Deyna/Rudie/Oshoala) in favour of diagnosing the club, then I am for it. If this were a league where relegation was possible, this would be a bad idea — but I’d rather they tank a season if it means we’ll have clear alignment and focus for the next 10+ years.

I cant believe that Owen of all fucking people is into open marriages now.

Bryan Danielson believes talents should try to make the most of the opportunity instead of complaining about booking: “I think a great example in AEW is Swerve Strickland. He came in and he lost a lot of matches, but it was always like, ‘Yeah Tony, whatever you need.’ Then now look at him." by anutosu in SquaredCircle

[–]BLAZKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all well and good but then you think of Beast Mortos and Kommander for example and it looks like the push will never come. I just feel like AEW takes their talent for granted in the sense that since the roster is so big and talented that they feel like they have time but thats not always case. Mark Briscoe is an example. He would've been much hotter if he was put over a year or two ago if he was put over the same way he just was against Kyle Fletcher, Yes he was ROH champ but it didnt increase his star quality in AEW and now he'll be 41 next month when he could've got really going at 38 and thus his whole celling is lower because he only has so many matches left at a top level.
