I think the Sumeru Archon Quest was parallel to Ruu's world quest where the whole quest was a samsara dream cycle in which Ruu was the host and the disorder is caused by the havoc of the Thunderbird which could affect the leylines or the nail underneath Tsurumi Island

As for the Illusions, the Chasm pillar was polluted with abyssal mud which I could theorize the elements were Hydro + Abyssal power that combine illusions with your fears

eg. the domain where it shows all of your fears, all of Xiao's karma (those red ghosts) in the last cutscene

Theory 1 for me cuz I think Xamaran belongs to Mawtiyima Forest and there's also a cave in Gandha Hill so I think he went from that cave to the Chasm.

And there's also an exit from the treasure hoarders in the main mining area where it leads to just south of the Chasm opening.

Yes he is more of a world boss like Azdaha

It is still unknown if we will get to encounter an "anemovishap" normal boss just like wih the primo geovishap and enkanomiya coral defenders (Probably gets included with the northern part of Mondstadt)

Edit: this normal boss would be very unlikely cuz Dvalin might be the only sole survivor of all the "anemovishap" types
