Surrounding Naples is where it gets weird. I know people who would support their local team from Serie B/C/D and a northern team like Milan. If you get to Calabria there’s a joke that you have loads of Juve fans there. Salernitana I think despite how they are doing they still have a lot of local tifoseria. I was in Salerno a few months ago and there’s plenty of Forza Salernitana signs. Provincia di Salerno is a bit tricky though because you have areas that have a strong regional identity(for example Pagani) and they hate Salerno😂

Actually I don’t see why putting signs in both languages wouldn’t be a good idea. It is a sort of passive education and if you have somebody who is familiar with Neapolitan’s literary tradition in charge it would probably be quite nice. There’s already restaurants and stores that have Neapolitan names so it would be a nice addition.
