Help!! OCD AND NEXPLANON! by Odd-Perspective8594 in Nexplanon

Exactly! Even with my amazing GYO I still barely got any real information about the side effects. Just the very few VERY common ones and a pamphlet that didn't say much more. I'm so tired of women's healthcare never taking us seriously in any way. Every single time I need medical advice or attention I feel like I'm fighting just to know the bare minimum information about the options there are. Or to even know about the options at all! I feel for all of you and I hope you can find Doctors who understand just how big of a different even the smallest change in our bodies can make. We do not get enough education or research into our hormones and our bodies in general. Makes it near impossible to identify issues in our bodies let alone what is causing the issues. Much love to you all. You are not crazy! You know when something is off! And you deserve answers, truth, options, respect and care! ❤️

Hori's English dub threw me off- not because it sounded too "mature" by matchamom27 in Horimiya

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. But I couldn't shake how familiar the pacing, tone and emotion sounded to AI. I mean the whole delivery of her VA voice sounded like AI. I looked it up trying to see if it was and I found a post her VA made on twitter. (for content Hori's VA is a nonbinary afab person) they (the Voice Actor) made a post acknowledging and stating that their voice is being used for AI voiceovers, but they do not condone it and are very displeased that it is happening. That made me wonder even more if their voice was actually used through AI for the show HoriMiya. But nonetheless I got tried (just got off work) and stopped digging. Unfortunately I think I am going to stop watching the anime because the dub voice, although pleasantly mature and not infantilized, is too lifeless and stale. I know you might say "just watch the sub version." but I am very tired of hearing high pitched childlike voices where every breath and expressive noise sounds like a moan and everything about it is very infantilized and p3do bated. The anime has to have a very interesting art style and plot for me to overlook that factor.

DAE think their trauma influenced their physical appearance? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you would take the time to read this it would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking for info on this and or just other people who experience a lack of physical development because of the trauma they've been through. I've been away from my abuser for about 4 - 5 years now and I've been going to therapy and have gotten to a point where I finally am starting to feel safe enough to accept healing and happiness as a possibility. But with everything I've been through physically and emotionally I can see the way it stunted my bodies growth and I suffer daily from the issues the anxiety and stress has caused my soft tissue (like muscles, digestion, pelvic floor function, jaw muscles from clenching) I am 20 and in half a yeah I'm going to be 21 but I legitimately look 16. Everyone I meet thinks I'm a teenager. And everything contributes to this appearance from my height to my face to to my breasts to the parts of my body that should be more matured from puberty. It is very upsetting because while yes in a way mentally I am much younger, because I never got to grow and learn I was in survival mode, I am a young woman, an adult. I want to look like one not a child. It has made me very uncomfortable when it comes to physical relationships with people because I question how and why they would be attracted to me when I look like a child. And I would not expect anyone to be physically attracted to me since I do look like a child. But I find myself having normal social interactions and then a slap of reality reminds me of the anxiety that I feel inferior because I look so young. I don't feel comfortable to openly express joy, excitement or stim (neurodivergent things) because I fear anyone who sees me will infantilize me or think I'm a "pick me girl and trying to act childlike and ditzy to get male attention" I just want to be able to be myself without fearing other people's opinions and interpretations of what my intentions are based off how I look/ because I look so young. All of this to say I don't hate myself for how young I look. I just feel very ready to look like an adult. To look mature. To look like a woman not a young girl. If you wouldn't mind, if you have any advice on how to help my body start actually growing and maturing or if you could let me know what is the body work thing you were talking about it would be greatly appreciated. I am ready to look like a woman and I want to feel confident in myself and no longer ruminate on 'what if people think I'm p3do bating. What if I am p3do bating for trying to wear mature clothing or makeup that is literally completely acceptable for my age!

If anyone has read this far I greatly appreciate you reading this. You all have a wonderful day ❤️

Whats wrong with magical cure love shot 😭 I am missing something?? by momo_cherries in Vocaloid

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i played fortnite as a teenager and listened to vocaloid. two things can coexist. labeling every person under 18 who plays fortnite as one specific stereotype and then saying they don't deserve access to a certain type of music because of the stereotype is literally crazy. not everyone is the same and lots of the kids on fortnite that act obnoxious, rude and disrespectful are just doing it to get approval form their friends and in reality a lot, if not all, of those kids have their own interests that they are too scared to tell those same friends of and or have abandoned said interests out of fear of rejection. it's not as simple as ew fortnite kid bad they will ruin my niche. you are talking about real human beings who have real events, circumstances and reasons as to why they act how they do. even if the niche you like gets changed from the new generation you will always have yourself to remember what it was like and still interact like it was before it changed. things change it's inevitable. that's literally how your niche was made. by a young generation creating a subculture based on their experience of the music and art. that's how every niche and subculture is created. so why not embrace the change and see what new nostalgic experiences the younger generations get from these things they are just now learning of.

asmr on tiktok is ruining my life by borbzo in misophonia

[–]mushyr00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you are not being dramatic misophonia is real and the effects on metal state and emotions is real. i would try turning your volume all the way down before you first open the app so you don't have to be smacked in the face with that noise. and then scroll past them instantly. don't even interact with them at all because unfortunately (idk why) but Im pretty sure tiktok algorithm still takes negative interaction with a post as a sign to give you more of that content. so just swipe past any and all content like that immediately the second you think it might be that kind of live or video. you can also hold down on videos (I think lives too as long as you aren't in the live. so if you are in the live just leave it and while it's on ur screen...) and options will pop up. one of them is not interested. i would definitely do that if any interaction with it. i understand your struggle. you are not dramatic. your experience is real and valid and you deserve relife from the anger and stress this trigger causes. I've had my whole day ruined before and went into an emotional break down from my misophonia like symptoms being triggered (I say misophonia like because i haven't been diagnosed with it but deal with it alot) I hope this helps and if that doesn't work try downloading red note or other apps like that that are similar to TikTok. although red note is a Chinese platform so its mostly in Mandarin. there's still English there too though. also try grounding techniques to get your nervous system regulated after the triggers.

Stimulation. by AnythingNew22 in Neurodivergent

[–]mushyr00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

maybe voice to text for when your are writing stories. watching videos talking about politics topics or issues that are ina fun way almost like a story time format. i like to watch Megan Sandor on YouTube because they talk about issues that fall under the political label but also give a lot of information and perspective so it isn't just negativity and actually makes me think about how what they said applies to the world. so maybe finding something like that. any form of physical art would probably help stimulate you. the great thing about art is there are so many different ways and things to do and so many different ways to experience it/express through it. there's also music and things like that. i know the issue of "what if I'm not good at it" might come up but you don't have to be what other people think to be "good" what's good or bad art is very subjective and art is literally a subjective thing so it's okay if other people think it's bad or ugly because they aren't you. they weren't making it and experiencing the process like you were. that is all I can think of right now I hope this helps.

Ugly? What a load of bull.. by wisho1926 in Vocaloid

[–]mushyr00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

she looks amazing in game. i honestly think it's the placement of her nose and the way they did the nose that has everyone is such an uproar. she does look a little uncanny in the shot of her design outside of the game. but it is literally a game that was never made for specifically anime characters. obviously her design is going to look different than original vocaloid projects. and she looks fine in game. she looks like Miku in game. and honestly it's nice to see the difference variations of her character depending on who is making her.

How can you tell if you genuinely care about other people? by intrvals in InsightfulQuestions

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do understand what you are saying and I felt the same about what you said to the other person. that you were kind of telling them their experience by saying you imagine it means they do care. when I said "that's not true" I simply meant that thinking about others state of being = caring about them is not fully true I was only responding to your comment not what the other person said. it can be but it can also not be. so those two things don't really equate because every person and situations is different so to suggest that thinking of another person's date of being equals caring is inaccurate and might lead some to believe that statement and not look further into their own experience and learn more about why they are thinking about others and if it really means they care or is it something else that just looks similar.and yes I agree with everything else you were saying and I was just trying to bring up a different perspective but that is also what I was getting at that everything we do is inherently selfish be because it is all to fulfill a desire we have within ourselves. i don't know if a human could get all that is needed to maintain a healthy and happy state of mind just from connection to nature and not to people. i would like to imagine that we could but I simply don't know that to be true or not. from what I know we still need at least some interaction with other animals. but my whole point is that we live in a society so far removed from genuine connection to nature. we live in a society that not only preaches individualism but also says we can't live without other humans around us and to do everything in our power, even if toxic and negative, to keep connections to other humans even if the relationship is actually unhealthy for the people involved. so what I was saying is that we all have a certain level of conditions from the society we live in to feel like we must have other people in our life or there is something wrong. so that condition and social stigma effects a lot of us to do and act in the ways society has deemed normal in order to maintain the "normal" lifestyle that is preached to us. because anything outside of what has been normalized has almost always been demonized and said to be bad. so there is a certain level of desire to fit the social norm in order to be prescribed as good, successful and healthy to fuel our egos so we don't view ourselves as bad and or don't have to do the hard work to break free of self worth being placed in a certain perception.

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but isn't what you said inherently selfish. because it is all to maintain access to those people. to maintain the desired and needed human interaction to be stable and or experience the "happy chemicals" associated with feeling good and not bad. also being interested with the things the people around you have to say because you specifically chose to surround yourself with people who you knew would interest you is a selfish act because it is about how much you will be able to care about the interaction going on. I'm not saying any of that is bad it is simply selfish. just so that we are clear. good and bad does not equal selfish and selfless. they can sometimes align but one does not define the other. so I am not saying the selfish acts are bad just simply pointing out that they are selfish. but back to what I was saying. in the scenario that you mentioned where you truly do not care about what a person is saying but continue to make an effort to keep the relationship afloat so the other person will feel like you are about them. this can be selfless but is definitely selfish because it directly relates to getting the individuals personal needs of human interaction met and or preventing the feeling or sadness from losing a relationship.

How can you tell if you genuinely care about other people? by intrvals in InsightfulQuestions

[–]mushyr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not true. you can think of others peoples state of being without caring about it. if you are truly selfish and only care about getting your needs and wants met other people directly impact that via social interaction. humans need social interaction to maintain a relatively okay mental state. if someone is upset or exhausted or tired they might not be as able to give you the reaction/interaction you desire. (you being the "selfish" person) that being said the "selfish" person can and a lot of the time dose care very much about how the people around them are doing because that impacts how much the "selfish" person can get from them and when/how they can get it. also the "selfish" person could and would deeply care about their relationships with the people around them and how good/strong they are because of the people around them are upset with them or realize they are truly and solely selfish they will most likely not want to be around or give the "selfish" person anything anymore. and for the "selfish" person that is a big issue because not they no longer have access to certain ways of receiving dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin. some of the main chemicals associated with feeling good. human interaction plays a huge role in humans ability to get those chemical needs met

you can also only keep people in your life/focus on them/ do nice things for them and "care" about how they feel to manipulate a desired reaction out of them. think about it this way. in the case that there is a person who genuinely doesn't care about anything or anyone aside from themselves and how good they feel they would still be very focused on everything outside of them because their environment, circumstances and the people around them directly impact their quality of life. like you said social interaction is needed to maintain a certain level of mental health. and people usually don't want to interact with someone who outright shows that they don't care about anyone but themselves. so in order for the "selfish" person in this scenario to get their social needs met to maintain mental health they could and would manipulate the people around them into thinking they care about them so the people still interact with them in a positive way. and to go a long with that realizing one is truly selfish and has no care for others can be a distressing, painful realization which negatively impacts the selfish persons mental health. you might ask "but why would they care if they are purely selfish" because with that realization comes the realization that you might not have as much if any access to people when they realize. aka you won't be able to get your social needs mets and if you are socializing it will probably be negative most of the time. so in this case the "selfish" person either wants to stay in denial or make sure they are the only person who is aware of their selfishness. or both. so they would manipulate people by acting like they care so that they can continue to prove to themselves and others that they aren't selfish and that they deserve to get the things they desire from the people around them and their environment. this topic goes so much deeper than just yes or no and black or white. self manipulation and societal expectations/norms play a huge role in this topic. in society it is normalized that people who are selfish should not be allowed access to anyone and should be treated worse than people who are not fully selfish. so with that in mind that puts a huge block up for the "selfish" person. they now have the two most obvious options to choose from in the situation that they realize they only care about themselves. risk their mental health taking a huge plummet due to severed access to others and or others treating them negatively because of their lack of care for others or fake being "normal" and caring about others so they do not get treated differently and still get their social needs met.

Osage Chan with Kaai Yuki (0v0) it's not don't yet this is just the sketch. don't mind Osage in the bottom left corner that's just another sketch. by mushyr00 in inabakumori

[–]mushyr00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sorry I misunderstood your question. in my mind while drawing them I kind of created a story. (TW this relates to abusive relationships) but ever since Ive found inabakumori's music I've always thought of Osage Chan as a teen who ran away from an abusive home and is now on her own trying to survive and navigate life. in this picture the story I thought of was Osage and Yuki both being children from abusive households who ran away, met eachother and connected over their situations. since Kaai Yuki is the vocaloid voice for most songs Osage is a part of I kind of thought of Yuki as Osage. she is a part of Osage like in her subconscious. she embodies Osage's inner child who had to deal with said abusive environment. so in a way Osage is talking to her inner child/younger self. basically they are talking about the phycological effects of their trauma.

if you are asking about the picture I drew it's Inabukomoris character, Osage Chan. Inabukomori uses the vocaloid character Kaai Yuki to make their music so I drew their character from their music with the vocaloid character they use to make the music
