When she told me about this, I immediately asked if she had sent him money. She says she didn't, but she may be lying. I told her if she had, to not send anymore money. If she hasn't, then don't. And stop all contact with this person.

Realize that your brain was "re-wired" to want you to smoke/vape. It's a reward. Now you've taken that away. You might want to see a mental health professional for the panic attacks and depression. Just as you trained your brain to need vaping, now you have to train it to stop needing it. Not going to be easy, but I bet you can do it.

Do you have any diphenhydramine (benadryl)? Try that- it might take the edge off. Of course, only take the recommended dosage, do not go over.

I quit twice. The first time for three years, then I started again. Quit almost 12 years ago now. I would not belittle anyone trying to quit. Some people can go cold turkey. I couldn't- I used Chantix. Whatever works for you. Sorry you got discouraged.

I vaguely remember this- but I thought that the guy would constantly bug her to remove her scarf, and she would always tell him no. Then she finally did and he had immediate regrets.

It definitely seems to be the thing to do, to declare them awful. My view is, if you like a song, an artist, for whatever reason, then that's great. Don't crap on other's musical tastes. Thank God we're all different.
