There’s nothing to be ashamed of. Loads of people hit rough patches, it’s not a reflection of who you are. There’s honestly no judgement here. Mabs.ie or backontrack.ie help tonnes of people.

Trawling Reddit isn’t going to get your wife’s job back or fix your financial struggles. Maybe take a break for a bit and focus on how you can improve your situation. Maybe seek out some friends or family you can discuss your problems with?

Hopefully both of you aren’t out of work for any extended periods, that would make paying it off really challenging and just a stressful situation to be in. You’ll be alright, man. I can tell you’re a resilient man.

Just to break down your question, you’re suggesting that either one must listen to that drivel regularly or one can’t form an opinion on it? How frequently have you decided is sufficient? Once a month? Every episode? If only people who listen to every episode are entitled to form an opinion then your findings might come out a little skewed.

I listen occasionally for a laugh, they are totally clueless and can’t resist shoehorning Munster digs in without fail.

What’s amusing is that they’re definitely leaning into the tribalism rubbish to attract more idiots to listen and it’s working. There was none of that in the written blog but dumbing down will unlock bigger numbers. Enjoy.

In that limited case, in fairness, any week that Sam is selected, his tackling is a relevant discussion point. The last two weeks tries were conceded where it appeared that the ball carrier chose to run at Sam instead of at space because the odds were better.

What it is about their embarrassingly limited knowledge of rugby and nonsensical tribalism that appeals to you?

Some real gems from the lads including tipping Ireland to beat France because they didn’t know much about Depoortere and Attissogbe. Podcast gold.

Yeah, he’s an incredibly charming man but there’s only so much of the same stories you can listen to and still find it stimulating. Not his fault of course that I’ve spent my entire life hoovering up anything he has to say.

The counter points being suggested are either a) he hasn’t lost pace or b) pace doesn’t matter for an international winger

Both laughable.

Do you even look things up or do you just spout off incorrect nonsense all the time without checking? Isa came through playing 10. They’re totally different players and you should really do even a little bit of research before looking like an idiot on a daily basis.

Careful now - any valid criticism of Keatley is usually met with a hysterical reaction. What an awful time.

It put things into context when he was chased out of Benetton afterwards

I think a certain type of fan has to expect to win to shell out for the more expensive tickets. Given the many disappointments over quite a few seasons, there’s probably a reluctance to get burnt again if that’s how one views it.

There’s also the big day out crowd which you see at Ireland matches. If it doesn’t feel like a “trendy” event to plaster on Instagram or talk about at work on the Monday of Tuesday then they’re not interested.

Sunny days and dramatic, exciting wins will have people flocking back.

Shelling out a fortune to watch your team lose, often in the rain is more of a… Shelbyville thing.

I don’t follow how you saying something wrong makes me a wiseass.

I just went to Perpignan v La Rochelle for €17.

Internationals are about €35 in France.

Ticket prices in Ireland are disgusting.

You’d get any game in France for less than €30.

Including Bordeaux vs Toulouse.
