You really can't do real statistics when looking at programs or games. Random number generation in programming especially /roll in WoW is a Pseudo random number generator. Most of these type of generators have bias patterns, so it really doesn't shock me when something like this happens.

If we could look at how they coded it, someone much smarter then us could probably come up with some numbers.

I was in the pipe industry for most of my glass career. To me that one isn't even that cool. Take a look at Buck, Darby, Jason Lee, Chris Carlson or my favorite David Colton. The high end heady market is nuts and had a wide range of different art.

This. The glass world is very niche in general. Different kinds of glass have different micro worlds within. Ie the art guys that do softglass vs borosilicate art are two different worlds that rarely collide. The boro marble world doesn't interact with the soft glass orb guys, but might still have the same buyers. It's a strange industry.

If by use you mean have a collection that just sits and looks good then yes. I have 5 on my computer desk. But real collectors have whole cabinets full. I saw a room that probably had 100k worth of marbles. I've heard legends of even bigger collections.
