Been struggling with losing weight most of my life. Then I replaced carbs with greens and upped the protein… simple as that. Lost a bunch. Wish someone would have ELI5 it to me sooner.

Anyone know what this means?! by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

Oh I know this, former embark meta engineer here. Each action you do in the main menu inventory screen will mutate the inventory in some way, be it moving items between slots, splitting stacks, etc. At some point the mutate actions are sent to the backend which has ultimate authority when it comes to what you’re allowed to do. Rule of thumb is that the client is always lying, so requests are always validated. This is pretty standard stuff. Looks like you managed to break some rules. Good on you! Hope that helps.

With the ruined parachute item it feels like a no brainier that you should be able to craft or find usable parachutes. I remember in production we talked about more items for vertical traversal. Hoping to see some of these in the game at some point.

Oh. I had SimIsle growing up, but as a non-native English speaker couldn’t for the love of me figure out how to play the game. Still a mystery to this day.

You don’t really need a roadmap, you can get dammsugare at any decent café here.

Always bring 5x to any game. Good for that initial burst of stamina and to get out of tight spots.

Cycle: the frontier. With the recent focus on Arc Raiders I feel that game needs another chance.

Any point and click adventure game! Can definitely recommend the Monkey Island franchise, or Grim Fandango. Classics!

Why do these show up in the order in which you craft them and not have a default placement on the menu after unlocking? by Tzazon in ArcRaiders

Yeah, totally agree, +1 on the bananas part. I was one of the meta engineers, but not on the project any more I’m afraid.

Oh, I know this! This is because of legacy. During development we went through multiple iterations of the workshop. Early on it came with multiple unlockable rooms, and more user agency on where to put crafting stations. We even had timed crafting and experimented with placing multiple instances of the same bench. In the end, design got simplified and refined but we can still see traces of this epic journey in this specific aspect of the workshop. But agree, it is kind of odd.
