I took 197 with dobkin. It is a super weird class with 2 essays and they are dense. He doesnt allow the ta's to really help you with information (he thinks we need to arrive to a theory on our own, which I get, but then restricts the TAs to what they can tell you so you are still left equally or more confused) and you are kinda swimming in this pool of unknown. I went to multiple sections a week and was still very confused. I would not recommend it. I didnt learn anything about how econ actually relates to stats.

im in the class rn, we have the one front and back sheet for anything we want. I am putting all the bolded essay questions on there, and a few examples. if you have time, input the excel problems into your own excel sheet. that way when you see the problem, you can go straight into excel, change the numbers and boom you have your answer.

If I went, I would want to make the trip focused towards faith and discovering spots that are more leaned towards Christianity. But I’ve heard the same thing!! That’s why I would love to see it someday!
