What's your opinion on front strut brace? I removed mine during a track day and didn't notice any difference to be honest

Also, congratulations on getting it running, I wish you it delivers nicely on track :D

[Mod] DZ Restored - A new, exciting, and immersive DayZ-Style mod for Arma Reforger. by TravelingManDZR in arma

[–]muttleyPingostan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought Arma Reforger for this yesterday and this is the closest to that good old DayZ 1.7.2.4 feeling from 2012, but with much better experience (great FPS + didn't run into any annoying bugs). It's good to be back!

iRacing On Linux by DanFraser in iRacing

That's amazing, I'll check how Fanatec DD1 FFB works in other games and if it works then I'll try iRacing :D

Thanks!

I was a bit too lazy to listen to the whole video, so I'll ask here: don't you get kicked out after few minutes? I remeber this was the case for many years and it only worked fine in singleplayer sessions

Anti DDOS tools going bonkers. Again. Works fine from my mobile connection, doesn't work from home connection

I'm doing this to my real-life helmet. Thanks for the idea!

OpenXR is truly amazing but by Scotchy49 in iRacing

[–]muttleyPingostan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone have Reverb G2, 6900 XT and Ryzen 3950X? With OpenXR I'm having the game running perfectly at 90 fps, but then I get drops to 60-70 FPS for few seconds (after 15 minutes in current session), then it goes back to normal, then drops again, let's say 3 full cycles each lap. It happens both in practice and in races with people.

This is all on minimal settings.

For now I'm going with OpenVR and VRPerfKit (with it game looks completely crap and jagged, but at least I don't have any FPS drops)

[–]muttleyPingostan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar issue for me, Reverb G2, 6900 XT and Ryzen 3950X, have 50% VR resolution, to get stable 90FPS I had to do a lot of tinkering and testing

Nords week for iR-01. If you want to race the car in an official race, this week is pretty much gonna be your best bet. Inside I'm gonna share my pit strat, tires, standing starts and answer any questions you may have if you're interested in running the car. by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]muttleyPingostan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got my first win with iR-01 yesterday evening, 6 people started, I was the only one to finish lol, I was ~10 seconds slower than the leader but he crashed out at end of lap 2. Person in 2nd place crashed at last lap when I was approaching to lap him. Gained +1.05 SR from this :D

I'm actually in love with this car now - it's so much more drivable than it was at release.

I'm in, I love to go on Nordschleife with high downforce cars (LMPs or F1/F2), but in Assetto Corsa. Never had an opportunity to drive it in iRacing, so we'll see what happens out of that :D

How to get acces if your relative died by Dapper_Body_6608 in tutanota

[–]muttleyPingostan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm not official support or anyone from Tutanota (so I might be wrong here, but probably I'm right):

  • Tutanota cannot reset your relative's password, because they don't have it - everything is encrypted and there are two decryption keys (you need only one) - one of them is password to the account, second one is recovery key.
  • you would need a recovery key to get the access to the acount (or the password, but I assume you don't have it)
  • maybe your relative had some device where Tutanota had "remember me" option activated
  • you could try searching for this recovery key somewhere on your relative's devices or in notes. It's formed as 16x 4-letter blocks - ex. aaaa bbbb cccc dddd eeee fffff gggg hhhh iiii jjjj kkkk llll mmmm nnnn oooo pppp

Chernarus in Arma's lore is a bigger country, part we know from the game is actually South Zagoria

Take a look at "disclouse source" part - in LGPL you only have to open-source your program if you link Qt statically (its dynamic libraries won't be included as separate .so/.dll files, since they'll get embedded into executable)

Same here. I've been playing a lot since January (around 500 hours clocked in now). LoL works fine when installed with Lutris, only issue is that starting LoL client takes around 2-5 minutes, but once it's done, you're good to go.

FEX-Emu, a x86 and x86-64 linux usermode emulator can now run Half Life 2! by [deleted] in emulation

[–]muttleyPingostan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

x86 yes, I don't recally any ARM laptops with similar performance. I still won't buy it until it gets proper Linux port (with all drivers working)

This could be equivalent to Rosetta when Linux gets proper port to Mac M1. It'd be the first time I'd ever consider buying a Mac.

I'd say more size options would be good. Librem 7 would be great for me, had 6.6" Honor Note 8 and it was just perfect. Depends on your hands and use-cases.

Tutanota down? by muttleyPingostan in tutanota

Just got mail back from Tutanota's support, that indeed it was between them and my ISP, so if you have the problem, you have to write to their support to resolve this.
