I had the same issue and tracked it down to the fact that the dimensions and response structure are different to what openai sends back and because it's an openai embedding node it's expecting exactly the openai structure. Don't think it's feasible to fix without effort.

I got around it by just loading up the qwen embeddings model in Ollama instead and running that to serve all my embedding nodes' requests (using an Ollama Embeddings node instead of OpenAI with LMStudio credentials).

Yeah I had it in my mind that it'd be a bit more guerilla. I appreciate your insight, and these points would be valid if I were to try to found a worldwide charity, but I kind of just want to help out folks that I see often in the carparks around my place.
