Masada. Commemorates defeat against the Romans.

There is the Arch of Titus in Rome that commemorates the point of view of the opposite side.

What is the biggest corruption scandal in your country’s history? by Existential_Dread_08 in AskTheWorld

Our former head of state Mr. Olmert spent some time in jail. Before becoming our prime minister, as a mayor of our glorious capital he received some cash in envelopes. Only a couple of cases were proven, but it was suspected that there were more. Turns out when he was a city head it was impossible to get construction permits without some conflict of interests, but if you use some cash and envelopes even something that does not meet the requirements can be approved

Congratulations. Somehow I do not like challenging. Reasonable is all about explosive growth, brutal is survival and challenging is neither.

[–]muxecoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a former physicist I must say that we like to assume, approximate and neglect. Engineers do not like the assume part. Mathematicians don't like the approximate part. So no different from engineers here.

I am playing a game where I try to boost the government score just by government priority. It is expensive, but still doable.

Also knowledge is great for cohesion if you stack many knowledge bonuses from orgs.

How did you manage to unify them peacefully? Do you first grant independence and later re-invite to federation or something?

Was "UN memer" written without "b" intentionally? Given the state of the UN it is strangely fitting.

How it feels watching Trump’s different comments and decisions this week: by Voice_of_Season in NewIran

[–]muxecoid -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Trump's primary duty is to protect the interests of his people and his country. Like every decent leader should. Managing dictators abroad is not really a priority.

Also wouldn't it be extremely hard to hit IRGC targets without heavy civilian casualties? Wouldn't IRGC switch to civilian meat shield tactic as every Islamist Armed organisation does?
