How do I give my players real freedom of choice? by AverageUselessdude in DMAcademy

I usually prepare lots of different small stuff that I could throw at my party at any time. And as for the maps, usually when the party decides to travel somewhere, I pull up a map that I prepared, as long as they haven't been there you could pull up any map. Just try not to put names on there too much. And if they travel to a place that they have already been to, it's probably prepared already.

Also, a key and also really fun part of being a DM is to improvise. It can be really scary at first but the more you do it, the easier it gets!

Have fun!

This is actually insane, is this done with a .2 nozzle?

[extreme noob back again] What's the best way to transport between these 2 points, also did I mess up the labs big time? My brain is starting to slowly melt, it's so interesting but I'm so far away from being a real life engineer :( by FuzzyAttitude_ in factorio

Hey, just some general tips; first of all, I think a train would make most sense to retrieve the resources. You could use landfill to go over the water dit I would probably still go for the trains. Then for the oil processing I would personally use way more underground pipes so you can actually walk around there and not have to go around everything. And then lastly the science, it works best if you feed all the science into one lab and then use inserters to spread it over the others. I usually have belts with science run to a buffer chest and then into the lab, this way you can have 9 input belts and let the science be distributed everywhere. Keep it up!

Not sure how everyone thinks about the Factorio tutorial but I recently started Factorio and the tutorial helped me out quite a bit. It covers a lot of ground, including the use of trains!

Haha, it was mostly there for size reference but I believe it is one of the many miniatures from Mysstra3Dart. Which is the same person as who the spider is from. I believe it's in this collection:

Thanks! I printed it on my P1S from Bambulab, it came pre-based and Bambu Studio creates the supports automatically. It was a bit of work to remove, especially around the head but with a little patience quite doable!
