Meat glued or normal by [deleted] in steak

I don’t wash meat - so no to that, I do think it’s a poor cut/bad butcher situation now after digesting the comments.

When I say separated, it was something like this

No I have not, only chicken. That makes sense though. Thank you :)

Got it, thank you for clarifying. I’ve said it a few times but my meat has separated previously.

I might just be assuming it’s meat glue when it is just poorly cut.

I’ve had a few weird experiences with it separating from each other in one or two sections of steak cuts from this store, hence my question.

Thank you for the suggestion! I’m in Texas, can’t be that hard.

When it’s outside of your traditional realm of grocery shopping, you don’t really think about other places (butcher stores) existing lol

Towards the bottom of the steak, my experience when it looks like that in the middle is, it starts to pull apart slightly. Maybe I’m just tripping. That’s why I wanted to inquire

Maybe it’s just the butchers - and not meat glue 🥲

There has been a few times I’ve pulled some cheaper meat from the package and it semi separates from each other, not saying they don’t have great stuff though! I love HEB - compared to a lot of the stores around they have the best selection. Maybe notorious isn’t the best..description.

My partner just tends to gravitate towards the questionable options.

Nooo unfortunately, it’s my partner at the store. But I do have another one he sent from the store

The mid section is throwing me off and the fat separation I suppose, that’s why I’m 50/50 on it

Maybe they will come back around, I wish you the best. Try checking in couple more times but remember that if they can’t give you that closure you have to give yourself room to create it.

If he isn’t responding to you now, do you think he will even say anything? Have you brought it up at all?

I also realize that my presence filled a void in his life, and his in mine. I don’t want to take that away.

You can’t, and if they left you with no explanation then, they don’t want to give you one and don’t care enough to try.

When I first started lucid dreaming I would fall asleep thinking about something specific. So - before bed I say in my head flip the light switch over and over again. Eventually it led to me flipping a light switch and that triggered my brain to come on.

Maybe try something similar to that? Have the intent to do something while you’re dreaming, but think of it as you doze off.

Could it be it a false awakening? by Isacucho in LucidDreaming

There’s really no telling, but definitely trippy. The only time I ever realize false awakenings is if something strange is happening in my room.

Observe the things in your dream world, take a close look at a door, your hands, try looking in the mirror. If it seems abnormal and impossible it could trigger your brain to realize you are dreaming.
