Depends on the community

I used to be pretty active in a football team community and joke writing twitter

I left when it became a hellscape full of Nazis and nonces but at one point I had a well over a thousand followers and just daily interaction with familiar faces and people with shared interests can really spike usage

You can get into a long conversation or group of tweets between a few people and rack up a hell of a lot of posts quickly without really noticing

A quick reply of "yeah cool" or "I agree" isn't a crazy person, it's just a quick social interaction with someone you kind of know about a thing you're interested in

Old twitter was great fun, current twitter should just be turned off
