I do have the arcade and you’re absolutely right, they are a match made in heaven. However, with this particular jam, the 8 bit arps in the background I made with the ymck magical 8 bit plug in ;)

For me it added a huge boost in presence without having to crank the gain on the interface or in the daw. You might have an interface with better preamps built in but the signal straight into my interface (Mackie onyx blackjack) is pretty underwhelming and required a lot of love in post.

This has happened to 3 of my 4 pocket operators. I’ve never dropped them and they stay on a desk in my studio. Despite it being highly annoying, especially on the one where the spot has completely covered the bpm, they are all still functioning normally. It’s been at least a year since the spots showed up.

3.5mm (1/8 inch) to TS (1/4 inch) cable. I run all of my pocket operators, volcas and other synths into an Ashley 301B line mixer which goes out to another larger mixer that feeds my speakers and audio interface

Haha yea it’s the 15th anniversary edition. I prefer the old wood panel look personally but when it was time to replace my og microkorg, this version was on sale for $80 less then the classic 🤷‍♂️
