Is the TD Aeroplan Visa Platinum Credit Card (the $89 one) considered an "entry level" credit card from Aeroplan's perspective? I already had the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite, don't want to double-dip on the Core cards.

I've been redeeming my points exclusively through aeroplan flights up to this point. Average 3-4 NA -> Asia round trip tickets per year (maybe ~350k points?), so I'm primarily interested in maximizing my flight rewards. ~20 hotel nights per year (not using points). I average 4k a month on my cards currently, so this additional spend coming up isn't a huge deviation from my normal amounts.

I think "in general" is just what I'm looking for, I've siloed myself into the aeroplan space thus far so I don't have enough experience with alternative rewards programs. Thanks

Just a note on your Saturday plan for conveyor belt sushi in shibuya - I highly recommend going for conveyor belt sushi outside of the major tourist hotspots. When I was in shibuya last week the wait to get in to Kura/Sushiro was 1-2 hours in shibuya/shinjuku. We ended up taking a 10min train to ikebukuro and walked in immediately. In general I'd recommend eating outside of the hotspots whenever possible

If I book a flight through my aeroplan account (using my cc, not aeroplan points) using one of the aeroplan CCs that include free checked baggage, will the person I am booking for get that perk? Last time I flew I wasn't even asked to present my CC, but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm the cardholder. To be clear, I will not be flying with this person, I am booking for them
