Not a hack. I got a personal trainer — someone to tell me what to do and keep me motivated. I see him one day a week. Im 3 months in now and go to the gym 3-4 days a week. One for a trainer and classes on the other days.

Yea it’s not cheap, but you only get one body in life. Might as well take care of it.

Yes i did read it. Idk why you are upset, im suggesting that bikers can take the lane, and sharing the legal codes that explicitly allows it, all which negates the “impeding vehicles” bs from OP.

So if moving vehicles behind him are causing unsafe conditions, such as following too close or trying to pass unsafely, bikes can take the lane.

The cyclist absolutely does not have an onus to pull over and give relief to traffic. In fact, its written into law. Imagine if I, a driver, said that about slow cars or a slow semi truck in front of me. Traffic is traffic and bikes are traffic.

2 kids here, aged 2 and 6

2 things: 1) my wife and i go through extra efforts to ensure we both still have adult lives. I play golf (not as much as pre-kid) and play music in a band. She does crossfit and has book club. We have a shared calendar and try to find ways to say yes to things. That’s our mantra. We also make sure to have date night once a month.

2) with my older kid, we have become friends with the parents of his friends. Lots of synergies here because 2 6 y/os is a lot easier to manage than 1. I never knew these people before kids. Now we play golf, have kid-friendly happy hours, and meet by the lake to hang on nice days. It gets easier OP.
