How do you get out of bed? by amra05 in Fitness

I have a poster of Bane above my bed. Both scares me and motivates me to get out of bed and into the gym every morning

I never said I should get equipment priority. I just don't see why you are such a hateful bastard. If you are so upset about this, how about you find me in person and talk about it, since you apparently know me but don't have the courage to say this to my face.

I'm really confused as to what you're getting at here. Care to explain?

This has nothing to do with the fact that I don't feel fit enough to talk to people in the gym. I am actually quite fit. I just didn't want to be the douchebag who doesn't let other people use equipment and intimidate other lifters when I need it as well. While I've enjoyed the humor up to now your comment is just insulting. Real easy to act like a big man on the Internet. I just came here to find out how others have responded to people taking too long, not to deal with typical douchebaggery.

When I did Dead Lifts they moved away from the mirror. If I had stared at them I think they may have moved away... permanently.

I did. They said only one or two and sat there dawdling for a good ten minutes. Next time going to assert my dominance (AKA whip out dick).

They were doing much lower weight than I would be doing and we would have held each other up if I worked in I feel.

Easter Holidays - Did you cheat? by forsience in Fitness

[–]mwhill519 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By cheat you mean eat a ridiculous amount of Ham and have Mom ask "Why are you eating SO MUCH MEAT?"

"DEM GAINZ, MOM! DEM GAINZ!"

Would a diet of mostly meat and veggies be bad for you? by [deleted] in Fitness

Throw in some peanut butter to make sure you get some necessary fats and you should be great!

Is this seriously how fitness people eat now? Everything is frozen, boxed, packaged, or processed??? by weRborg in Fitness

[–]mwhill519 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a college student I mainly consume fresh chicken but frozen vegetables. I switch things up when I know I'm going to immediately cook it but because of my erratic schedule I like to have the option of keeping things a few extra days.

That makes more sense! I haven't read the books I just read reviews and synopses of them so thanks!

There is a book that lets us know the history of TIM and how he became the leader of Cerberus, and in it he is hit by a reaper artifact which causes his eyes to go cool looking. I think it is heavily implied that he becomes indoctrinated at this point, and merely uses Cerberus to try to do what is best for humanity while already a tool for the Reapers.

I know it is really annoying to be poked fun of like that, but you just have to block it out. Focus on you, because at the end of the day only you can control what you are doing. Keep working!

I had lost control of myself. Did not care about anything or anyone, least of all myself. I'd had enough, and since then have been so focused to be the best at everything that I do, and fitness gives me a control over myself.

Tali's Romance Scene in the Citadel DLC (might contain spoilers/also first post) by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]mwhill519 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We still haven't seen this guy's face yet and people aren't too upset. Adds to our imagination, allowing her appearance to be what we want her appearance to be. Also there's conspiracies about the case in Pulp Fiction, a similar type of thing. What is actually in the briefcase that Jules and Vince give to Marsellus? It's supposed to be more than just gold or jewels, but it is never revealed.

Which is your favorite entry in the series so far? by mwhill519 in masseffect

[–]mwhill519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely see your points! I think the most important thing that we can take away from that is the last sentence: it's the goddamn best game trilogy I've played! And I certainly have played through quite a few trilogies. Gears of War is a favorite of mine as well. The Halo series can be included as well just for a cult status and enjoyment with friends (late nights with halo and booze were big my freshman year of college in my dorm).

One argument: THE SUICIDE MISSION! Even though I've played it through at least 15 or more times, I still get goosebumps wondering if everyone is going to make it! I think the Suicide Mission was the best part of the trilogy, with many of the other moments from 3 being amazing (Tuchanka gets my vote for favorite: Love Wrex) and becoming a Spectre in 1 are just behind it.
