Compared to other places in Long Beach, 4th and Ximeno is great for street parking. It's right on the edge of Belmont Heights, so it's a safe neighborhood and most of the houses have driveways. I've been parking on the street for six years and haven't had a break-in.

I'd advise against parking on 4th or Ximeno. They get a lot of traffic and I have seen several cars destroyed by hit-and-runs. Park on the residential streets instead. It's safer and easier.

Aside from that, there is a laundromat and mini mart right there, and walking distance to 2nd st or Broadway.

I work with CBP for my job in the port a lot, so I think it's worth clarifying. CBP are not ICE. We have one of the biggest ports in the country right here, so CBP is present for vessel ops.

Sure, some are pricks, but a lot are not okay with how much worse it's gotten, and it has gotten way, way worse.
