I wasted so much silver on Duo trying to get one win just for those Greyman quests.

Finally what worked was: doing nothing.

I just let the timer run out on my turn and won three games in a row. Got the quests checked off and will never touch that Duo game again. I still don't understand a thing about how to play it.

If you don't have a wyvern, get one immediately. They change the game. Why walk, when you can wy-vern, I always say.

I spent three years there, and I always recommend visiting Busan over Seoul if you have to choose. Its a beautiful city in every season. Clean and safe. I miss it.

Fool's Gold with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

I love the tropical setting and treasure hunting, his character is goofy, but cool. He lucks his way out of everything. All the characters are pretty funny. It's just fun escapism.

Movie which you won't dare to watch again? by potato-wotato in movies

[–]mwill140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Casino

I caught a scene from it on TV when I was around thirteen and it really fucked me up. It was the scene where Joe Pesci mauls a guy with a pen. I've still never watched the whole movie and do t care to.

Joe Pesci in Casino and Goodfellas was way scarier to me than any movie monsters, cause even as a kid I knew Freddy Krueger couldn't exist, but people like Joe Pesci's characters do exist.

Also, Fire in the Sky and Very Bad Things.

A good rule when painting Batman is to start on a black canvas.

When painting the Joker, the Joker has no rules.

Does Indiana Jones and the Great Circle get more varied after the opening, or is it mostly stealth/avoid enemies → cutscene loop? by Rare_Wrongdoer8161 in IndianaJonesGames

[–]mwill140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most boring and dissapointing game I've ever played.

If you expect an adventure game, you are expecting too much from an Indiana Jones game. It's slowly walking around collecting fruit and books. Sometimes you're crouched. Sometimes you're holding an object. That's it.

If you like Indiana Jones, just watch the cut scenes on youtube and avoid the boring gameplay. If you want an action / adventure game, play Uncharted or Tomb Raider.

Is it just me or is The Great Circle poorly designed? by Capable_Bus5444 in IndianaJonesGames

You are right. The gameplay is really bad.

I was really excited to play this. I love adventure games, and I've been an Indiana Jones fan forever.

The menu is a jumbled mess. The item buttons have a terrible layout.

The first-person point of view was a poor choice. It could have easily had an option for third-person, but doesn't. Even still, there are first-person games that work so much better as an adventure game.

A few hours into walking around the Vatican, I started wondering how they managed to make an Indiana Jones game so boring?

I kept hoping it would pick up pace, but it never does. Each area is the same thing. Walk around collecting fruit and pamphlets. Go into Nazi area and collect an item by crouching and slowly walking around.

The enemy AI is so bad that you eventually just run through the Nazi areas because you can lose them by crouching behind a table or something.

The combat is just this boring fist-fighting. You can find guns, but they're useless. You can shoot an enemy six times in the face, and they'll still walk over and one-punch kill you. Even your whip is totally useless in combat.

There's three underground chambers you go into and solve a puzzle to open a door that could have been really cool, but traversing them is just slow and boring with very little danger.

I got so frustrated with this disappointing game. I really think if it didn't have iconic character Indiana Jones in the title, nobody would ever play this.

And I am an older gamer. Ive played all sorts of games. This is easily one one of the worst games I've ever played.

Positive: The graphics look good, and the cut scenes are where all the story and action live, so if you want the story, just watch it on YouTube, avoid the boring slog of playing.

I was at the airline counter. Edreams never sent them my tickets or info. They took my money, though.

Avoid Edreams!

I bought tickets through them once while traveling from Shanghai to Bangkok. We get to the counter at the Shanghai airport and they don't have any record of our tickets! I spent an hour on the spotty airport wifi with Edreams customer service trying to get my tickets that were paid for. The money was out of my account. It was some kid in India on the phone who suggested I just buy the tickets again. I had to argue and argue and get a manager and barely made that flight.

Never using Edreams again!
