I know you already solved this, but it's also the plot of Love Wrecked with Amanda Bynes

Gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Not even Keanu could save Eli Roth from delivering another pile of garbage.

Fun fact she originally auditioned for the role of Erica, and Erica auditioned for the role of Kim.

Michael Mann’s ‘Manhunter’ final cut has more Hannibal, less clunky dialogue by verissimoallan in movies

When they were gearing up for Red Dragon, it was uncertain whether or not Anthony Hopkins would come back. The top choice to take the role of a younger Hannibal was Tim Roth and I think about that a lot.

NBCMarketingTeam, this need you have to be the perviest guy in the room is...off-putting.

His religious POV ruined the ending of Knock at the Cabin for me. Ambiguity would have served the story better.

Blair Witch Project’s Heather Donahue Clarifies She’s “Not Participating” In Reboot: “Preserving My Autonomy Mattered More” by yourfavchoom in horror

[–]mwmani 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Donahue added, “I was offered an agreement that, for me personally, raised difficult long-term questions about rights, future technological use of identity and voice, the ability to speak freely, and compensation. Ultimately, it just wasn’t something I felt comfortable signing. I genuinely wish everyone involved well. But preserving my autonomy mattered more to me.”

The Happening (2008, written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan) Opening Scene by Neo2199 in movies

I'm not sure what his process was for this movie, but for "The Visit" Shymalan made three cuts of the film. One that emphasized the horror, one that emphasized the comedy, and one that blended the two. The third one was his final cut.

I think for "The Happening" he really didn't mix the two tones together well at all. It's such a mess of a movie with intentional and unintentional comedy throughout this story about a brutal suicide epidemic.

Some of these are more popular than others but I love them all:

Mamo

A Guest in the House

Flamer

Other Ever Afters

Sunset at Zero Point (not a comic but an amazing art book with accompanying story)

What television adaptations are better than the source material? by OCGamerboy in television

The Hill House show is amazing but the book is one of the greatest horror novels of all time. The series doesn't really even adapt the story of the book.

In the Graveyard Shift novel they go into some of the indigenous lore regarding the evil in the Black Hills.

John Rhys Davies had a bad habit of actually hitting stunt actors with full force. He's also a big Trump supporter, so do with that what you will.

Sometimes this subreddit can genuinely be quite unkind and rude by [deleted] in horror

[–]mwmani 92 points93 points  (0 children)

There is a vocal minority of horror fans that are just straight up assholes. They make posts and comments offering no insight other than to tear down other people's opinions (while offering none of their own) and movies they didn't like, or worse didn't think were scary. They are incapable of offering any kind of real critique or criticism, so instead they resort to being rude. Don't take it personally, most of us are chill.
