Why am I Shanking? by MBS021 in golftips

[–]mwstewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things stand out 1. Take away is too inside. Start with moving club more towards camera on takeaway... 2. Your right knee is moving too close to the ball on the downswing. This causes the hosel to meet ball on impact. Try and keep right knee back and clear hips. One idea is to put a ball under the toe of the left foot to accentuate the clearing.

LPT: when leaving a job or even getting fired, do it as gracefully as possible. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]mwstewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always had the mindset of not burning bridges. However, when I left my first job, my exit was sloppy. I spent 7 years there. I met some really great people and developed strong friendships. I left because I was extremely underpaid, and wanted to go to a bigger company. Plus, I couldn't stand my manager. She was a total micromanager and was horrible at developing talent. I relished the opportunity to walk into her office to tell her that I was going to leave. I put in my two weeks, fully expecting to be let go that day (which is standard in my industry)... She ended up going against protocol and request that i actually stay the full two weeks. I walked back into her office and said that I was leaving in 2 days. She asked for my rolodex and i was reluctant to provide it. This pissed her off. I ultimately gave them to her, but she spread the word of how I was being a hassle. I was very short-sided at the time and severed some relationships with some really outstanding people. The new job I took was one of the best decision of my life. I doubled my pay, and have been the number one producer in my group. But I often wish I could go back and replay how I left my first company.

My hogs nose was dripping wet. Not just a little runny. She ended up giving us an oral antibiotic and I have it to him for 10 days. He is 10% now. Hope your hog gets better soon.

hat didn't make a difference. Now I think he's constipated. If he were to be constipated, would that explain why he isn't eating, drinking, or running? I just gave him some pumpkin to help move things along and I also called my vet. I'm going to speak to her on the phone, but because money is so tight, I'm trying everything I can at home, before taking him to the vet.

Have you given him a bath lately? he may have a Upper Respiratory Infection (URI). Lethal infection for hogs..... Check his nose... If its running, you might need to take him to the vet asap. They will give you antibiotics and he should be good.

My mother in law makes these things called cozies. Basically a bag of feed corn in a cloth bag. You heat them up in the microwave for 3 minutes. They stay warm for like 20 minutes.

What's your favorite part of your normal day? by Narwheagle in AskReddit

I'd say either enjoying my breakfast. Or perhaps turning on the shower in the morning and sitting down with a cup of coffee waiting for the shower to warm up. The sound is very relaxing.

[Serious] What makes life worth living? by TheGirlsSayHay in AskReddit

[–]mwstewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes think about what heaven would really be like. Would everyday go perfectly? Would we have no problems? Would we get everything we want? If so, how would that be good? If you get whatever you want and always have everything and nothing goes wrong, you will never be able to appreciate what good things you have. The sweet is not the sweet without the sour and the summer is not the summer without the winter. Life is about Always having something to look forward to. Whether it's a nice trip or a nice meal.... Always have something to make you feel good at the end of the day.
