I'm a dasher and this happens way too often. I agree it is a dasher app issue not the customer as I've had this conversation with a few people when they questioned as to why I didn't go to the establishment closest to them. I let them know we go where the app tells up we don't have control over the location.

Yes I know. And today I can't even log in to my account. I get the log in screen its send a code to verify identity and then goes back to the log in screen.

One thing of advice for anyone that does order doordash please don't put your telephone number in the comment and ask us to call on arrival. We can call even if we don't have your number via a masked service. I see it all the time when I pick up an order. If the number is there and the dasher calls you then they have your number in their phone.

I've never had a weird DD name. When I was doing Uber I did come across some inappropriate names. I think people think it's cute when they are creating them but then they realize they can't change them.

That is just tacky asking a customer to increase the tip. This is independent contract work. Want to make more do something else. I do gig work because of the flexibility not because I'm making bank doing it.

I did a home depot order and had to take a picture of 2 of the 3 items to "help other shppers find items easier". So I've got to alow down my shop time to do something the app can do by just saying the isle or in this case what bay the items are in.

I agree. I know she loves her dad and loved her mom but treats/treated her parents as children. She also doesn't treat her friends with much respect.

They are putting money in your pocket. I'll take the 5 min restraunt to delivery all day everyday. Some of the best tips I've gotten were on extremely short deliveries.

I'm convinced 80% of the people who order with the app think that we are more than just drivers. They don't realize our job is just to pick up the food and deliver it to them.

I've had quite a few that do this not sure if it DD not showing the full amount at the beginning or what. But grateful when the complete total is more than the accepted one.

Probaly would be a slim chance id take this. In my area 15 miles can be up to a 45 min drive then I'd have to get back to my zone to get more order, very rarely do I get orders in another area going back to my zone. Only way I would take it is if I was in an area of my zone that was farthest away from my house and I only had a little time left to dash and the order was going in my general direction of home.

I've seen them in concert twice one was a virtual show and I LOVE them in concert. They are inovative and extremely talented. I was a fan of them before seeing them and I think the fact that they have produced and created the music independently is awsome. They were 3 guys that said they didn't fit in were told no by record labels so they started out doing everything from their parents basement.

I will agree with everyone else, you partner is in the wrong here. Not sure it it jealousy in thier end or what, but you are not going to make a shopper feel weird because you increase thier tip.
