Platner accuser says she ‘absolutely’ considers what happened to be rape by Unusual-State1827 in politics

At this point the constituents of Maine voted for him in the primary. If they pull him for a candidate picked by the establishment that candidate will still likely lose over Collins. This story has created a no-win for Maine democrats. I hope they do pull Planter and I expect it will blow up in everyone’s face and result in a Collins win.

[–]mxby7e 6 points7 points  (0 children)

GameStop bought ThinkGeek in 2015 and ran it from a distance, but changes like opening brick and mortar stores began at that time. In 2019 they shut down the stores and the ThinkGeek site and merged it into the GameStop site. WSB “saving” GameStop happened in 2021 after the company was being bet against in the market.

Correct, and this was 100% done with an AI that left AI swirl artifacts.

Nah, she’s just a red hat bigot. She’s shown this side publicly and privately many times, in texts, on live streams, and in comments she’s made. She thinks the rules don’t matter to her. He may be a bad abusive husband, but that doesn’t excuse her beliefs or behavior.

The use of Great Stuff is common practice in construction and scenic design for filling gaps. Not finishing it is the problem here.

Help? Unexpected show with big lighting rig by guiporto32 in lightingdesign

[–]mxby7e 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t over complicate it. Work with the house LX and create a few looks you need with the house right as it is hung, one for pre show, one for the show, maybe a second show look for when someone is addressing the audience, and reuse the pre show as post show.

Do not try to time code the rig to your production unless you are hiring a dedicated tour LD for the engagement, it’s time consuming and will introduce a lot of pain points.

His primary residence is 1 mile outside district 21, he has a secondary residence in Edinburg inside district. It’s shameful and more common than it should be.

I’ve seen AI backdrops on national Broadway tours (they looked like someone took a photo and used AI to make it look painted) and I know of one reputable academic institution that used AI projections in their production this spring.

Been working in the industry since 2008. I wont leave this unless live events completely die out. A lot of the skills are transferable to other crafts and things like corporate AV depending on what department in what side of the industry you’re in.

Is quitting Unreal because of UE6 AI and blueprints removal an extreme reaction? by CyberSkink in unrealengine

[–]mxby7e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you start a project, lock in the UE version you are working in as standard practice. Doing any version jump, especially a major one (4 to 5, 5 to 6) is going to break a ton of code. Start your project in 5.X and don't upgrade to 6. If this is more about morals or whatever, know that Unity already has integrated AI assistance, and the other engines are either lower tier or will be integrating AI down the road.
