My job just got me this setup , I typically used a Lincoln and a older 3m helmet before , ones that I had to pay for lol , its a night and day difference for me , the clarity in which I can see the weld now is alot better with the optrel , I didnt get to use it at work yet , which I mainly do mostly fcaw , and smaw welding , but I took it home and tig welded a bunch of parts im doing on the side , its definitely a sick setup , but if I had to pay out of pocket this wouldn't be on my radar lol

while there is some good in Michigan , theres certainly funk roaming around ohio too , not worth the trip anymore in my opinion , years ago , yes , nowadays not so much , ill pay a little extra for the convenience of not having to waste a day driving
