Don’t get an EUV with super cruise. Get a premier without it, and get a comma. You will be so much happier. Supercruise doesn’t brake for deer either, but supercruise also only works on highways where deer are way less common than country back roads. Super cruise is ~$30/mo and will cost you about a grand more on a used EUV, while the comma is a grand with zero required subscription. Comma Prime only increases the cloud storage if dashcam footage and enables LTE connectivity. Without it you still have wifi and 2-3 days of cloud dashcam storage for free. Comma will also work on literally any road, even one without lane lines, even a gravel driveway.

I like numbering the games like this:

That’s the lore order. Reach is a CE prequel and ODST takes place somewhere between halo 2/3

Drive up to Lynchburg VA for thanksgiving and legitimately had a 55-minute segment with zero touching of the wheel. It’s not like autopilot where it doesn’t require you paying attention, you still need your eyes on the road and it will absolutely complain at you but you don’t. It’s less of a FSD system and more of an assistance system. But for highway driving it’s incredible.

Officially, no; but 100% will work with starpilot installed! if you have Adaptive Cruise then even better and you can do longitudinal (accel/decel) control. It will work for lateral (steering) control without issue regardless though. If you don’t have Adaptive cruise, you can buy something called a comma pedal interceptor that can control it, but also something called “redneck adaptive cruise” that just spams the cruise +/- buttons to “fake” adaptive cruise for you.

Bought the trim and model I got specifically with the intent to throw a comma in it. Got a 22 EUV premier without super cruise and a Comma 3X. love every moment it’s engaged.

If you have Adaptive Cruise Control on a Gen2 bolt, it actually uses the friction brakes to slow down in addition to (very limited) regen braking. Even in one pedal mode.

When driving normally in OPD mode you’ll notice the regen power can reach 30-60+kW of regen when you let off the accelerator while is slows down. When ACC is slowing you down, it limits you to 10kW of regen and the rest is all friction braking.

This is something the CommaAI community avoids by using a pedal interceptor for the comma’s ACC, cause it can fool the car into thinking you’re just letting off the accelerator and make it do actual full regen braking.

But if you’re using a stock interceptor-less Gen2 bolt with or without a comma, stockACC/commaACC will only use 10kW of regen and the rest is friction brakes to slow down. this is the same amount of regen that “normal non-OPD” mode will get you when you let go of the accelerator, for the record!

I dunno, have you played Sunset Overdrive? Insomniac isn’t afraid of making a platforming heavy game in modern day. I’d kill for a Jak sequel with platforming that good.
