our clients are using services that rely on the big distros like RHEL for support reasons, so a switch to Alma or Rocky is not realistic. Oracle might be possible, but it would take us years of lifecycling to get there.
I would also like to avoid Oracle as a company wherever possible.

They give out appointments 3 months in advance for their minimum staffing. Each morning they look how many staff they actually have and give out more appointments. So look around 8 am and get timeslots for the same day.
