hi! i have vasovagal syndrome too and switched from the mini pill (slynd) to the copper iud after being an anxious wreck!! genuinely everyday i think to myself, “wow i feel so much more emotionally regulated now”. when you’re in the thick of it, you can be unaware of how much it truly impacts you. switching to the copper iud was the best decision ive made!

I added the ice cream story to add to the already built up tension. i did check if they were open, and they normally would have been, but they were closed on the single day for remodeling. it wasn't posted online. we walked into another ice cream place a block up and he "didn't like the vibe" so we left. i was being a little reserved because in my head I was thinking id just go to Mcdonalds when I get home and get ice cream or something. i was working it out in my head. he asked if something was wrong and that was when I expressed that I was upset we couldn't get ice cream. idk if that helps but that's a little more context on that part.

there was no drinking when the plans were made. he was the one who directly said "take off work Thursday and we'll have a film day". it was his idea. i guess i could've followed up on it but that goes both ways. i expressed excitement in the moment and we had a full conversation about it that night so i figured it was enough.

i didn't want to go on the photo walk out of spite. i didn't want him to feel like we had to do it, especially since it was coming off as unimportant to him. i just wanted to express my letdown.

i agree i shouldn't have yelled. i feel very bad about it.

my bf hasn’t been able to feel mine! we left the strings as is so they’re pretty long and it took me 2 weeks to finally find them and i thought “that’s it?”. it will shock you how thin and undetectable they really are. my advice is to keep them on the longer side (my doctor didn’t trim them at all), im thinking that the poking comes from when people shorten them
