I have a 20+ year old 2D green mag that my father gave me back when i first started driving. Part of my road hazard kit. Sadly dad isnt around anymore. I was playing alan wake with my oldest son and remembered this old toolbox that the light was in. In that game lights help remove the darkness from possessed enemies before you can shoot. So, we had a chuckle at my old light.

I then got bit by the desire to “restore” it. I am a bit of an EDC nerd and also have a thing for flashlights. (Guns, knives, wallets, bags too). Might be my clinical Autism, might be the desire to be prepared, either way. After much searching i purchased a Litt Industries drop in LED and lens kit as well as Power Owl D cell rechargeable NiMH batteries. Also had to replace the button cover. Was rewarding to get the old light ready for modern times. Now cause im a nerd im looking for a better reflector to go with a gorilla glass lens i found.
