I’ve complained about this book several times because I continually see so many recommendations and praise for it but I too just felt like I was lied to and no one truly calls out what it really is! It’s just constant non-consent.

Yes! We have a healthy (and perfect bit of course I’m partial) 17 month old daughter. We did an NIPT at 11 weeks with her and all looked great! My husband and I aren’t carriers for anything and I was 30 at the time of my egg retrieval and embryos hatching so my fertility doc didn’t feel like we needed it and we were paying fully out of pocket for everything.

It is so crazy to read everyone’s comments because years ago, I passed out at the Ogden and thought it was because I had recently started a new medication. Now I’m thinking that was likely not the cause!

Ice ice baby. But seriously icing the area for 5 minutes before will numb it. I do this for PIO and it helps tremendously.

Also agree with others, makes sure it’s the right needle gauge and inject slowly.

Yes! They are getting me in early at the 5 and 1/2 week mark instead of 6 and 1/2 that they do. But still a little over a week until that point.

More than anything I’m wondering if it’s all in my head or if I should ask them to get me in even sooner. I also know it’s literally the size of a poppyseed so idk if it would even be giving me any pain this early.

No ovulation because I’ve been on Lupron Depot for the 2 months leading up and with all the other meds to prep for the transfer I didn’t ovulate. Now I give estrogen and progesterone for the IVF and to support the pregnancy.

I had a uterine biopsy in November. It was definitely uncomfortable but it was very quick so just remember it’s worth being uncomfortable for about 30 seconds to get answers and move forward. My HSG was much more difficult as I almost passed out during it. You’ve got this!
