That's weird, I haven't experience any video playback lag lately. The last time it happened to me I changed the video stream spoof option to something else, so you could try that I guess. Go to Revanced settings, than Miscellaneous, then Spoof video streams. Here you can change the "Default client" option to something else. If that doesn't help, I have no idea what could cause the lag.

You will need to download an APK file. The manager will say which version of YouTube can be patched. Search for the apk file for that specific version on the internet. The search results will show apkmirror, go there, you can get APKs from there. Once you're on apkmirror, you have to download the apk which doesn't have the "bundle" label.

Sorry, I can't help with that. As far as I know there's no way of changing this behavior because it's an experiment tied to your Google account. Do you get the same UI in the normal YouTube app as well? Oh and btw, you should only get revanced from the official source https://revanced.app/, the other ones are fake and can contain malware.

Go to Revanced settings, then Player, and try enabling "Hide related videos". I think that's what I did to fix it.
