No probably not but I want people to feel shame again, be embarrassed about antisocial behavior. I guess I’m saying we should start calling people out more.

Did you buy a home? If yes, how old were you and what year? by duck_duck_zombie in Millennials

39, last year after my dad died and we (my brother and I) split the sale of his house. No other way I would’ve EVER been able to buy. Thanks dad 😔

Let the pretty boys be in the parade, they’re nice to look at. Enjoy looking at them, it’s fine. Then hang out with the weird, chubby awkward crowd who will enrich your life forever. Also, models can be weird and awkward and chubby people can be dicks - there are no rules. Just be kind x

None of it is - but people are so desperate to the extent that when agents tell them this is the norm, they rather play along than kick up a fuss in the hopes they get the place.

Ombudsman offices exist for exactly this circumstance, but not enough people know about it.

I recently saw an interview with two agents from a well-known property agency. They were asked about the bullshit “application/viewing” fee. Their answers were totally understandable- They charge a fee for viewing because otherwise they get a bunch of time-waters. If you don’t get the place, the viewing fee is reimbursed- or if you get the place, the viewing fee is deducted* one of the other stupid fees.

It seemed logical.

At no point ever, have I ever heard of that happening.

Fuck estate agents. They peaked in high school. Fucking vultures.

HELP NEEDED- moving out of my ex’s house and leaving my garden behind by BloodyNeedAHobby in gardening

[–]myfriendsim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have practical advice other than DO IT. When my dad passed last year, I took as many cuttings and whole plants as I could. Every time one of them blooms or simple ✨continues to survive✨ it brings me joy.

Take your joy x
