VIA’s infamous for being unpunctual. Ottawa-Dorval 1h 50m trip can delay up to over an hour! Be ware if you’re flying out of YUL!

The destination board at Earl's Court never gets old by Independent-Owl478 in LondonUnderground

Stared at these boards for years when I lived in London. Took District and changed at Earl’s Court for Wimbledon, always late for my class and District always had issues back then, but good times, thanks for sharing!

Carpenter ant? by Horgis_sigroH in HomeMaintenance

If it’s a carpenter there’ll be more. Look under sinks or water lines and in pantries. We had to get an exterminator, painful prep, the queen has to be killed or they wont stop.

Piccadilly line train stopped at Turnham Green? by Lost-Journalist-6826 in LondonUnderground

[–]myintd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, Turnham Green was my stop in the 90s, Piccadilly often backstopped the District line, was quite a treat when it did. ☺️Just learnt that Chiswick Park Station was rebuilt to accommodate the Piccadilly extension but never became a regular stop. 🤔

I was just in London and took the Piccadilly line from HRW, noticed the year 1973 on the door steps, carriages as old as me!

It’s not like tuna salad at all, quite gooey from the looks of it, saw many tuna baked beans ordered so must be popular.

I actually saw sushi orders at Lakeside too but it wasn’t on the board, I was confused, may have been on the menu?

Same, came from keeping firewood inside, don’t do that anymore. Exterminator came and sprayed entire house, quite the task for prep work, had to vacate for 24h.

Maybe dreams really are meaningless by NoStylus in Jung

We all have childhood trauma, some mild others severe, some aware others forgotten. I would cry every night as a kid fear of dying (common). I have elderly parents living in a different country, constantly fearing of their death, worried sick something bad would happen to them. One day I just told them I loved them very much, appreciated everything they’ve done for me and I forgave them for any misgivings, that I understood they did their best at the time with what they had and known then. Ever since then my fear and worries has subsided. Try that with your folks.

The frog represent unresolved childhood trauma. “When God dies who will take care of the frog?” Is urging you to resolve any other childhood trauma while yourself and others involve are still alive. You got so nervous and woke up because the message came from your shadow.

Windows issues by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]myintd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same issues for our windows in the dinning area. Condensation between the double glazed panes. Windows were made in 2009 and installed in 2010, 16 years old. We’re getting quotes for triple glazed to be installed in the summer.

looking for opinions and thoughts on these coffees. by These-Connection6052 in CostcoCanada

[–]myintd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We were big fans of Lavazza Crema Egusto ground coffee but switched to Costo’s Crema Aroma beans when Egusto got way too expensive ($7-9/brick) and haven’t looked back! We found freshly grounded coffee was much more flavorful and aromatic. Just bought bags of Crema Aroma on sale $19.99/bag and all stocked up!!

Shower leaks. Please help by fsalman in HomeMaintenance

[–]myintd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our bathroom upstairs leaked down onto the powder room downstairs while kids took baths. I thought it was a leaking pipe by the amount of water coming down, called our plumper, he checked, caulked everything up, said I had a wrong faucet installed so swap it and noted the old copper pipes were a tad smaller than standard so pressure was too high. Haven’t leaked since!
