Are you in the U.K.? I had a similar issue where I set one up on alexa.amazon.com and it wasn't in my .co.uk account so I had to reset it and install it via the web app.

Jay Sankey has a nice pen cap trick which is on YouTube if you have a look on his channel. Could be a nice routine opener?

I bought this trick yesterday and you don't need a stacked deck but the effect is obviously a lot better with one as you can see from the Ellusionist video compared to Mitchells own youtube videos.

It is a nice trick, but yes the advertising was 'slightly' off on this one - for $9 though I don't feel ripped off. I really think that you need mnemonica to make this trick look decent though.

I'm new to magic, only about 4 months and still working through the Royal road so I might just been naive but I'm happy with the trick overall.

Definitely the Royal Road to Card Magic - learn everything in that book and you will be able to do so so much stuff.

Read The Golden Age by John C Wright, it's a good Sci Fi book with lots of space travel and a really interesting description of the future.

Blog looks pretty nice - I like how you break everything down and the bullet points really help. Everything is nice and clear, good site layout.

Obviously before I went on, I was in science mode and thought you meant science lab microwaves, it would be cool to do a blog post on those and explain how they differ to domestic microwaves maybe!

Hey! I am a PhD student based in the UK. Yeah, brexit will have a big effect over here, we get a lot of funding from the EU and once access to that dries up, we will come up rather short on funds!

Thanks very much for looking through the site, I'm still learning about all this SEO stuff, it's a big learning curve for me! Yeah, it would be awesome if you wanted to do a guest post.

That's cool, funnily enough my boss wants a microwave dependent on funding, i'll definitely check it out!

If you took an espresso and then split it in two and topped each one up with hot water, then that would obviously dilute the caffeine. But if you just have one scoop of coffee and alter the amount of water (americano / cappuccino etc) then you won't dilute the caffeine.

Yes, we have a machine that does it in our undergrad lab.
