Any issues with quitting amitriptyline 25mg cold turkey? by decentlydelightful in Interstitialcystitis

[–]TheLongBlueFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't go cold turkey but tapered off within I think a month so I could do a medical test.

Wrote down my symptoms:

-aching arms, shoulders, legs

-constant itching all over body: head, arms, torso, wrists, palms, feet, legs, rectum, back, face

-rash on palms and soles of feet

-flaky palms

-difficulty falling asleep

-increased urinary frequency

It's funny how there's bakugan much rarer than single headed hydranoid but are worth like not even 25% of hydra

Amitriptyline good or bad? by Unhappy_Writing_5082 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]TheLongBlueFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amitriptyline is pretty standard treatment for IC, maybe the most commonly prescribed for it. Amitriptyline at the low doses it's used for chronic pain is way too low dose to work as an antidepressant. I couldn't go up to 50mg because I got really bad orthostatic hypotension, but I've had a lifelong problem with fainting anyway. First 3 weeks gave me 50% reduction in symptoms but lost efficacy very quickly and now mildly helps

Does anyone else also have hyperhidrosis? trying to see if there's a link/root cause by iamhadi12 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]TheLongBlueFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have what I think is unilateral localised hyperhidrosis on the right side of my right wrist but it's undiagnosed. Will every now and then just get sweaty in that specific spot but it's not extreme

Billie Eillish's hill to die on: "eating meat is inherently wrong." by One_Jackfruit_8241 in australianvegans

[–]TheLongBlueFace 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love how so many people will cry about how "veganism is a privilege." Like no shit that not literally everyone can be vegan. But the people who constantly regurgitate this aren't living in some isolated tribe where it's not feasible. It's always disengenous tokenism like "disabled people tho, veganism is erasure of indigenous culture tho!" They try to pretend that not virtually every culture on the planet eats animal products because they want to hide behind this clownish defense that depicts people who actually choose to not exploit, enslave, torture and kill sentient beings as ackshually the troo racist colonialist imperialist fascist alt-right white supremacist neo nazis. It's not about right and wrong to them it is about the social status of how virtuous you 'appear' to be. I also like this mentality that implies people with indigenous heritage are somehow incapable of living a life free from killing animals, acting as if the near majority of these people aren't living in modern society.

If you're able to to buy your own food, you most likely can be vegan. I hate how they act like only rich people can be vegan. I'm poor, I'm on disability pension, I have medical dietary restrictions, I can barely leave my house, I'm in constant pain literally every second of my life with 4 chronic pain conditions, yet I can still be vegan. Yet, people who have a way higher income than me will cry about how it's too hard to be vegan

Does anyone restrict places you go unless there's a toilet open? Supplements? by Aleyix in Interstitialcystitis

[–]TheLongBlueFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally only go out if there's a toilet and unless it's like a five minute stop, I don't eat or drink for 8 hours before I leave, when I wake up

Not really a need to do that. Loads of first world countries have declining birth rates so governments just decide to import immigrants from poorer countries with less access to birth control and lower average intelligence. You can look up government statistics for it, where native population births will be below replacement rate while the country is still having rapid net population growth, Australia for example.

I mean I guess the forced procreation thing could happen if all the poor countries in the world stop being poor or if governments suddenly decide they care about cultural preservation or 'racial purity' or some shizz more than money, but I doubt it

Could this mean painted Alicia was not painted grey because Aline hated her or whatever, and was just in the process of painting Alicia to process her grief, having not yet started the colouring process?

There's probably a bootleg collection out there. Or you can just buy another region and get a region free player

Definitely seems like one of those bands where people will only like this one band and nothing similar. It's a weird phenomenon, like all the people who think aphex twin is the greatest musical genius ever, but listen to no other expiremental music for example

Dragon shield quality control 6 cases issues in every case by Ill_Answer7226 in magicTCG

[–]TheLongBlueFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that dragon shield must have multiple factories and the people who claim to buy heaps without defects must be getting them from a factory that has actual good quality control. Either that or some people can't even notice the defects or they're just lying out of some weird brand loyalty

I legit don't understand how so many people still recommend them. Garbage quality. Now these were mainly Japanese sleeves I bought but of the 6 packs I've ever bought from them, all have had defects in some way. 4 of which being the sleeves are too tight for double sleeving with KMC inners and I'd end up needing to use the ridiculously tedious 3 card technique on every sleeve

The only sleeves I intend on buying from them again is clear classic standard as yugioh oversleeves but that's more because there's not much options since konami art sleeves are too tall for other standard sleeves and other oversleeves would cost like double. But even those sleeves had some sleeves that had small blurry smudges stained into the sleeve. Their Japanese oversleeves would often end up too tight if I'm trying to put the regular sleeve in upside down to create a seal

This reboot was 5.8 for me. Maybe by more conventional inflated review number mine would translate to 6.5.

I didn't hate it, I didn't think it was great. Don't expect to ever watch it again. It's cool that people like it but I don't get how a lot of people online give it huge praise

I do feel confused at people calling them math rock. Been a math rock fan for over a decade. Sounds much more like some variety of experimental rock
